The film was amazing even with what looked like to be a lot of cuts.

There are scenes in trailers that arent in the film and lots of different variations on delivered lines, mostly Joker.

so there's got to be a ton of unused footage. i really hope its released one day. would be cool to see all the riffing Heath did. ive read in interviews conducted w/ the cast that he would try something new every take

ledger pretty much redeemed himself from the gay cowboy thing, and i have to say that he did a fucking phenomenal job as the joker, he honestly made the movie. the pencil trick rofl, and the mother fucking hospital bomb and "i want my phonecall"

The one thing I NEVER understood, is why people hate on long movies. Wtf?! I HATE 1.5hr movies, theyre too short, I would love to see more 2.5~3hr movies.

Anyway, I saw it yesterday and was blown away. I much preferred Heath Ledger's Joker to Jack Nicholson's on many, many levels. Truly an iconic villian that will not be forgotten and a talent that will be sorely missed. I also loved the world Nolan created. It's fresh, it's raw, and it's REAL. Batman is believable now, not the hideous and laughable wreck that Batman and Robin cemented. I am eager to see what the third movie will bring, as only the Riddler and the Mad Hatter can really 'exist' in this world.

The voice was only weird for me during the part he was talking to Joker about people being good and talking to Gordon at the end. It's okay when only used for small pieces. And I think I remember a scene where we saw his tongue way too much, but after seeing it again I couldn't find it.

Brokeback Mountain jokes are lame. It's really one of those moments when you can say "that's sooooo [insert year of fad here, in this case 2005]" and not look like a douche.

He was a method actor though, and was fun to watch in pretty much anything regardless of the movie he was in. Even 10 things I hate about you was bearable because of him.

they could also do Hush too. Though he didnt have many appearances and only in the comics.
Hush does have ties to the riddler though.(was Nigma's doctor)

Geez, most of my Batman lore comes from watching the animated series religiously when I was a kid. So many villians I don't know ><
