nolan said catwoman wouldn't be in his films. I think he's signed for 3 movies so definitely will be a 3rd especially with the money this one has made.

I didn't think he was signed on for anything at all, since there was an interview where he was still debating a sequel to this.

Though with $300 million made in a little over a week, you can bet everything you own the studio will make a sequel - with or without Nolan. Personally, I vote WITH plz!

Something like a "Pay or Play" contract for Selina Kyle/Catwoman? That would be kind of funny since Billy Dee Williams entered into a similar contract with Tim Burton's Batman franchise as Harvey Dent to ensure that if Two-Face popped up as a villan he would get the role. Joel Schumacher wanted a more name-recognizable actor for his Two-Face so I guess Williams got to keep eating for a while when they paid out his "Pay or Play" clause lol

Haha, I didn't know he did that too. XD I do know that one of the Wayans brothers was wanted as Robin and signed a contract for it, but when Schumacher decided to cast a white Robin instead (Chris O'Donnel) Wayans still got paid for the part. XD

who says he dies? I think it's very possible he's still alive, and gorden just has him locked up in arkham. If Dent was dead, batman didnt seem too upset after breaking his 1 rule of no killing.

When Gordon went down to check on them and Harvy was lying on the ground with his burnt half facing up but Batman goes "The world needs it's real hero" ect and flips over his good side and his eyes were still open.

Least that's my reason to thinking he's dead for good.

He only had one eye open, on the burned half of his face....and you can't assume he's dead based on that, because he doesn't even have an eyelid to close that eye. His eye on the unburned side of his face was closed.

I'm trying to think of good setup for a 3rd nolanverse film:
1) Black mask + matches malone, kidnapping lucius fox story arc

When the very first details about The Dark Knight were released, they alleged that Roman Sionis/Black Mask was to be one of the antagonists of the film.[citation needed] He was described as an industrial heir who loses his company to Bruce Wayne and adopts the Black Mask persona for revenge. By the time Jonathan Nolan wrote the final draft, he was cut. Though a prisoner on the boat (played by Tommy Lister) can be seen with tattoos on his neck with the design and pattern of The Black Mask.

2) Ivy + clayface, no man's land story arc
They would have to tone-down clayface and probably get rid of ivy's total plant control. but i think they could make this "realistic" enough. ... okay maybe not.

3) They could revisit R.a.G. and do something with sensei and talia, make up some sorta assassination plotline.

I don't see any way of them topping TDK tho.

Honestly I took that part about the world needing its hero to be similar to Gordon faking his death, as more of a cover-up to the public to prevent other catastrophic things from happening. I would be pretty surprised if that was all the screen time Two-Face got in this saga. He was a damn good actor too, so I'd be pissed if he was gone.

he's a pretty good villain in combination with the false face society and maybe deadshot ( who worked for him for a while).

I really hope Two Face doesn't come back. His burnt half of his face was the only thing that I didn't like about the movie, it just didn't look realistic. Just looked like the mummy when he was half regenerated, and that film is like 8 years old. I was surprised the Scarecrow wasn't in it more..
