    Good virus scan for Vista

    My girlfriend has vista, and a pretty annoying virus that keeps rebooting her pc at startup.

    I'd like to try a free virus scan first, but if i have to pay for something I don't have a problem with that.

    If you don't have good connections, you can get Avast! home edition for free

    http://www.avast.com

    BTW, you DO have to let the update service through the windows firewall. Bad Vista! BAD! No cookie for not recognizing an AV service's updater!
