Whitegate NPCs crashing the game

You can live without whitegate if you don't do salvage or assault perfectly fine. I've been getting merits on my BLM on phuabos/abraxas/aura statues. Also, with my HP in my home nation I can warp anywhere I want to. Plus, theres a new expansion to mess around in.

It started for me about a month ago and seriously pisses me off. I've just been buying silver from bazaars to avoid the currency npc , and I curse everytime the teleporter freezes.

I play on PS3 now, which I got about 4 months ago, and that lags more then the PS2 use to

I have yet to experience the freeze from other NPCs asides the ones listed, although I do go to extremes to avoid whitegate. All I want is this gay freeze to be fixed, really annoying.

Anyone wanna bet that it's probably just a piece of code that has a number switched somewhere? e_e

Having done silly chain 200's, and crappy ass barely chain 10's, I can honestly take or leave either method.

If it's fun, yay, if it's mindless and old, seeing chain 200 just makes it over a little faster.

If Campaign get's fixed where you can reliably show up to them, and the frequency get's put back closer where it was, it will be really easy to get merits in.

Whoever is responsible for this freezing up horseshit seriously needs to be burned over 90% of their body in a fire, and then right as they mostly recover die from something else that's excruciatingly painful. I've lost two parties on Monk, which I can stand LFP for hours on, to freezing up on the IS coin jerk, the Sanction jerk, the Runic Portal pass jerk, the AF storage guy jerk, or basically any other jerk NPC in Whitegate that I talk to. About two weeks now since I was 64, and I'm still 1k to 67. ><

I'm playing on PC, no freezing problems, thing is, if someone in my LS freezes on PS2, he just asks me to talk to the same NPC and it unlocks him, hope this helps if it hadn't been mentioned.

This has also worked on occasion for me, but it's hit or miss. Sometimes there is nothing you can do about it and you are out of luck.

SE did say that WotG would come with a new central hub, although there's no AH in the cities of the past. I didn't think there was any way they could take an AH-less city and turn it into a hub, but they found a way! Turn the old hub into a crashfest.

I've frozen on pretty much all NPCs, the Whitegate >> Nashmau boat gate NPC who asks you if you'd like to board freezes me every time though, Moghouse NPC does often, warp taru has stolen like 40 silverpieces from me so far due to countless console resets. Mind you i just switched to PC from PS2 so i'm hoping it won't happen any more.

After my game freezes after I trade the coin, and I reset I just continue to talk to him like I just traded he coin and he'll still warp me.

I'm on PS2 and it happens to me about 1/10 times I use the above npc's. It really needs to be fixed.

Its intentional to force everyone off the PS2, so they can make improvements to the game which the PS2 would not allow them to do!
