Did a 6 man Byakko the other day.

2 NIN/DRK with E.staffs and -physical damage/haste gear
COR/WHM
THF/SAM
BRD/WHM
RDM/DRK

2x March, Evokers, Magic Accuracy rolls on everyone with the THF getting Chaos Roll by himself. Since landing Slow/Elegy is basically a crapshoot on Byakko, the M.acc rolls allowed the NINs to have about a 1/3 chance at landing Hojo.

2 Weapon Bashes for Banishga 3, Stuns for after Diaga or Triple Attack, Bio II on the mob with COR enhancing it with Dark Shot.

THF uses Accomplice on the RDM when the JA is up, the BRD and COR each have a NIN for Erase for Dia and Paralyna, make sure tanks are Hasted...easy fight...just takes about 20-30 minutes. Could have used a SAM/THF to speed up the fight, but we wanted TH4.

If you can do that, then you can do all the lesser gods with 6 or less.

I suggest CS stun Suz though until your melees learn to not break shadowbind after being told not to 40000 times.

Melee will never learn. If there's something they can kill, and they have a big weapon in their hand, it all equals possible epeen numbers, so they are compelled to do damage. Wait, what's that... LS sacks screaming? What they say? MOR DOTS?... Yes sirs!! ROAR...

Regarding suzy 2hr, I noticed RMT don't use either chainspell stun or shadowbind, probably because they never level RNG (need gil to buy ammo) and they tend to pop suzy several times in a row.

Basically when suzy starts 2hr, a BLM should immediately stun it, another BLM/RDM or RDM/BLM land ES + gravity on suzy and have tank run out of spell casting range. Set up order to throw in stun every 2-3 secs. Suzy will follow the tank but will not be able to get into casting range. I have used tried this strategy during Kirin fight after melee broke shadowbind and it worked really well.

That's impressive. So did most of the damage come from DoTs? Also, did the BRD have Relic Horn?

We do 6 man byakko with:-

PLD/NIN X2
THF/DRK for TH, DD, and Stun lock
WHM/DRK
RDM/DRK
BRD/BLM

Easy prey and lots of profit too lol.
Yea, as mentioned, takes about 20 mins ~.

Mostly just curious why you'd use /BLM for this on a BRD. I'd imagine Paralyna and a few random cures would be more useful than Elegy, especially with the lack of resists high-end BRD's seem to get.

Elemental Seal Troub Elegy last about 50% of the entire fight.

Enough to justify using blm sub.

With stun locks from RDM/DRK, WHM/DRK, THF/DRK, it's a breeze.

Before cutting the numbers to 6, we used to do with up to 8-9 ppl, using dual brd's in tank pt, but we find that not necessary as tank's MP are always 100% full.
The RDM and WHM is more than enough to keep tanks at full HP, besides, both are PLD tanks, and they can cure each other as well, unlike NIN/DRK.

Normal BRD with good gear, no relic.

Damage came from Bio II being enhanced from Dark Shot and the THF doing normal THF things.

I just swap to Fire gear and run around if we don't have a RNG there, it's fun watching everyone run around as I suicide bomber chase em XD (Not serious, but it would be fun)

If he ever hits me with anything, I only take like 80-100 damage, and we dont waste any 2 hours
