Even so, I'm more concerned about the ability for the nations to actually kill the things in their nations. Sandy gets a pretty short walk to their forts, but we all know that's not the reason they're dominating. Now that the biggest issues have been addressed, someone else can lead the charge to get the smaller things changed. :D

Yeah, but it's still a 5-10 min walk from where you get dumped in rolanberry, to CN.

Holy shit, we were killing Quads in Rolan, Bart shows up, takes one Quad from 30% to 0% with a WS.

What the hell is he smoking, and where can I get some?

Max was already a badass (natch, he's a Max, we're awesome) but Bart was a shock to me.

Anyone who seriously thought or still thinks Quads weren't broken must be a bit detached from reality.

Campaign is shaping up quite nicely. I can only hope Campaign Ops will pay off in the end. It seems SE just made everything level 50 or < and will slowly raise caps and complexity. Still stings about the Assault: effects ;/. That I hope they change asap.

Can always hope, but realistically I don't think they'll let assault items work in ops. To date, signet effects stayed in old world, sanction/toau effects stayed in toau. Wouldn't make sense to cross expansions like that unless they did it with signet items too.

I'm not sure what you mean here. Why run to CN from Rolanberry port when it takes half the time to run there from Pashhow port, as Gynin was saying? I've been loving CNest since yesterday's maint, got 2300 there last night, afked 20 min after and when I came back saw it had repopped, got 1200 from that. Bastok is actually making a bit of progress now (We're up to the "t" in "Bastok" on the power bar).

Considering there is 3-4 campaing going on at any time. Walking 5min is still too long

Depends on what your objective is in Campaign. I like being generally active tending to prefer contested zones, and leaning towards helping Bastok if given the choices. Right now on Pandy we are defending Gusta easily, attacking Grauberg with a takeover already locked in for next week, and very little chance of capturing Pashhow. That leaves Rolanberry which is about even beastmen vs. Bastok and which I frequent but isn't always up, and Crawlers Nest. It only takes a couple minutes more than getting to the action of say, Fort K-N, one of the other few contested zones of any nation, and CNest's Fortification placement means your singular efforts can have a noticeable effect even if you're the only one in the zone--and being the only one in the zone also means it tends to lasts longer.

    I lol'd
Outside of Quadav attacks this is the hardest boss I have seen personally and he wasn't that hard. Max single damage I saw was ~400 and his AoE wasn't very damaging at all. There were 10-15 PCs at this fight and a legion of 10 Elvaan NPCs, I did not see a special leader with them but it might just have been hidden in the swarm, and no one died except one THF who had no shadows and no healer. Now on the flip side my first experience with a Quadav boss was Ore Lob thwacking Striking Bull for 3350 damage. This is MY EXPERIENCE, it is not funny, it is a factual observation..[/quote:3k4lmg9i]

Bakodek did Slam Dunk me for 3400~ shit.
Besides, One-Eye Gxxxboj is DEFINITELY STRONGER than Bakodek. His spamming Battle Dance for ~400 every 3 sec kills 50 people in a min.

Shadowhand, Shadowfang, One-eyed, and some other NMs aren't designed for a group of inorganized people to beat. It's just like you join a pick-up dynamis, do you think you have a chance to kill the Dynamis Lord? When almost everyone is doing Campaign as melee, we hardly stay a chance to beat them. So if you see those NMs, just leave them alone, go for the minors.

On the other hand, if we always have easy battle and win, who will play Campaign anymore? The randomicity is why there is so much fun doing Campaign. Nothing makes me more excited than fighting along with people that you don't even know and wins a tough battle against the beastmen.

    Enjoy Campaign, I'm having fun~ :D

Quadavs have lost rolanberry but they are going to fight for Pashow.

I counted 4 NMs and over 40 mobs.

    M. Mountains is the same way, only it's angry pissed-off Yagudo. Makes me feel like West Sarutabaruta...in the Yagudo's shoes when Zonpa-Zippa and 4 hordes of Mithra and Taru zergrape attackers.

I'm not surprised though. It's the beastman's "home ground", they better be stubborn and nasty to fight. I expect nothing less.

Re: Campaign Mobs: OMG DID YOU HEAR QUADAVS ARE FIXED?

Hades is dominating all across the charts. Bastok stands to take every zone, alongside sandy. Windurst stands to pick up everything except for meri. I was amazed at the level of cooperation between the 3 nations post-update, as most areas picked up steam to the point where most nations had to stay in their own areas to constantly defend. However, everyone jumped at the chance to finally bust up the quadav, and Bastok has been flawless in terms of teamwork and tactics.

Many of our tanks started to get the wind behind their sails when not being hit for 200+ by the heavyshells, and now kite them individually over to NPCs, while a mix of PCs fight the turtles and assault the fortifications. We're all looking forward to the next conquest, as Meri mountains will be the last beastmen controlled zone, and everyone is looking forward to raping the yags in their own back yard.

Kudos, SE! Campaign has never been so much fun!

Once we're good and solid fighting at the "home front" for the beastmen, I'm looking forward to the kind of challenge I expect the fortresses to be, and the Northlands. Tzee Xicu, Admanking, etc. Mass PvE is good for the server as a whole- people develop a habit of working together and just plain being nice to one another for the cause.

I honestly wish we had stuff like this in the Conquest areas at this point, and lessons learned from Campaign applied to Besieged as well.

We've experienced much the same on Ramuh. My campaign partner is from San'Doria but we spent all day taking control of rolanberry and defending Grauberg. We made a few stops off to jugner to help but it seemed most were interested in seeing those quadavs fall.
