Arkansas is blowing their season the past two weeks, so I'm kinda upset about that this year. Thankfully I'm from right outside Memphis and can pull for them. Hopefully they can rebound from the loss and get hot in the tourney.

lolDuke.
OMG @ Pitt vs Syracuse. Pitt stole the ball and took a 1 point lead with 8(ish) seconds left.
I think that thiswould be appropriate.
Fucking hell, foot in mouth, etc etc
Eh, Wisconsin beat Michigan State by 15 3 days ago, I wouldn't consider playing @ MSU a "likely loss" at this point.Originally Posted by Ryany
In the big ten, home court advantage is huge. Especially the refs... they seriously overfavor the home team. Have you seen the stats what teams get in the Kohl Center vs away? It's pretty crazy.Originally Posted by archibaldcrane
Edit: holy shit, anybody watching georgetown vs marquette????????
This year, though, home court hasn't been as strong amongst the top tier teams. Purdue swept Wisconsin, Wisconsin swept Indiana, MSU only beat Purdue by 3 when Purdue was missing their best player, (IU @ MSU still to come). Purdue and MSU have't lost home games, but they're missing home games against IU and Wisc, respectively.Originally Posted by octopus
I think the Big 10 tournament is going to be really interesting.
You have got to be kidding me....BC just blew an 18 point lead in a span of about 6 minutes. UNC is likely still the best team out there, (when healthy) but I still say nobody is guaranteed even a sweet 16 this year.
Sooooo many good games today. DOWN WITH TEXAS!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Some damn amazing games today. Man, that Georgetown game and then the Pitt game.. crazy.
You guys gonna watch the KU/KSU games?
Hmmmm. Michigan State's leading Indiana by 25 right now .... with 4 minutes left in the first half; shooting 80%. ....Originally Posted by archibaldcrane

Yeah...59-31 at the Half. Crazy shooting. Michigan State is really streaky.
It's easy to shoot a high percentage when the other team doesn't play defense. Granted, MSU is on fire regardless.
...like I was saying a few posts above about how tough it is to win on the road....MSU lost by 19 at IU.
Yeah, like I said Indiana is overrated 8) No way they're a top ten team.
I know they aren't a Top 10... they're ranked #12. >.>; They have been deserving of their record though. This is just their first real test without Sampson at the head, and MSU (or anywhere for that matter in the Big Ten) is a tough place to play on the road.
UNC was down to BC by 18 at one point in the first half and ended up winning by i think 10(was up to 12 at one point).
You know why? Lawson started playing near the end of the 2nd half, they held that one guy to only 12 in the 2nd half when he had 34 in the first.
UNC could very well be #1 in the nation come monday. With Lawson back I don't think florida state or duke stand a chance against us(the two teams we have left to play in the regular season). We'll have to see what happens in the NCAA tourny.
Louisville being 18th is a joke. They should be around 10. I know people will point to losses earlier, but they played a tough schedule. They are playing as good as the best teams out there in the last month and are right in the race to win the strongest conference this year.
The three early losses came during a time they were plagued with injuries. 2 of the three later losses were lost by 3 points or less. The game against de paul, they simply flopped. I think they are the 6th or 7th best team, but I went to school there, what can I say.
lol Texas Tech
