To anyone who knows MS campus at all - it's actually starting to flood down by the Willows. This morning, there was, no joke, 2 inches of water on the road, and rising. They have Public Works guys outside at the moment sandbagging the sidewalks and trying to drain the road with tankers sucking up as much water as they can - it's not working. It's pretty ugly down here today. Fortunately for me, I love the rain.

If you get to go home early because of that then I will step on your foot. Millennium campus looks pretty ok right now. Personally I had my fingers crossed that it was going to snow really hard all the way through today so I could stay home. Oh well...

Man, I saw all that snow Saturday, and was hoping it'd stick until today. And at this point, it doesn't seem so much of "go home early" as it does "stay in the office until the road-water isn't ankle-deep". Drivers here are bad enough as is without an EXCUSE to hydroplane all over the place.

Was about 5-6 inches of snow on Saturday night here in Michigan, but that proceeded to melt a day afterwards. It's still here, but it's more soggy and it didn't really cancel much in my area. I'm hoping the storm comes back, though, because I heard it is.

Yar, Stumptown here as well. It was raining almost all of yesterday =P You must just be so used to it that you didn't notice. It has been raining nearly non-stop since about Friday afternoon. Some heavy, most just the regular ol drizzle we know (and love?) here.

Yeah... and it was "supposed to snow on Saturday night/Sunday Morning." Knew that wasn't happening when i saw how "warm" it was on Saturday at about 2am =(

Too bad, i miss the snow... well, more than the 1 day a year snow that is.
