Crawler's Nest Escort still bugged?

I was doing the CN Escort on Saturday, and Olavia appeared for me after the people doing the quest there before me finished, but once I got towards the end encountered a problem. I stopped her just before the Rumble Crawlers to wait for Carby to catch up with me after killing an Exoray, and she took off back out into the previous room. I've done this escort a lot of times before, and have never seen this happen before. It was like some NPC behavior in the newer ones (the Lv.1 Assault, the WotG Op, etc.). She got pretty far away before I stopped her, talked to her again, and she went back to where she was supposed to.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is it supposed to and maybe I just always missed it before?

It's like the horror of the easily-distractable Reinforcements from the Vanguard mission combined with the horror of an easily aggro-able, fairly-defenseless NPC.

I did it Sunday Morning before the tally and she went like normal. Me and the person we were doing it with ran ahead a few times for mobs and left her to run on her own and she didn't deviate from the usual path. Seems like there has been tiny glitches in a couple places recently, this might just be one of them. They might have messed with it when they fixed it last week, but who knows.

I did this yesterday, and she took the shortest path for me (ends in the Exory Room on other map). Didn't notice anything different about her movement.
