2 Boxing

Hey I'm running vista with a nvid 7 series and can run fine whith a single window but when i try try to run a second window with like Windower Lite or even the FFXI windower the second window will only run for a few minutes then just freeze.

currently using Windower 3.3

Before the expansion came out could run 2 windows wit out so much of a hickup, now I can't seem to get a second window working for more then 15 mins.

I've tried playing the game one super low settings and this still doesn't help.

Any ideas / suggestions would be much appreciated. thanks in advance to those who offer and constructive advice.

There is a plugin over at the windower site to fix this. I didnt pay much attention to what was going on, but I believe when have two open, one of them gets their priorities dropped to crap, and this fixes it.

yeah tried priorty and while things aren't freezing the FPS is around 3-5 a second 8/ thing actually slows down my whole comp until I shut one of the windows down.

i pretty much spend all day dual boxing pling myself up for maat's cap and iam on vista have had this problem a few times i run both at 4096x4096 first shut down shadows to normal on 1 and off on second turn foot steps off on both turn weather off on 1 or both i usaly just leave it off on 1 shut bottom effects off on both and monster -> none party pc i leave all the off's on pl

that solved it for me if it dosent for you post your comp specs maybe rez is playing a factor for u cuase for me my comp can handle it game cant running both at full i only use about 40% of my cores and 20% of my 3gigs of ram

for some odd reason if i let everything sit for a min I can get half decent FPS with 2 boxing now but I'm running the game at the bare minimum which is odd because before WotG I could have 2 windows up at max settings with out even a slight hiccup.

ty for the post btw as running at bare settings makes it managable if I don't try to move around much on the second window.
