How often can Vouivre spawn?

Wiki says its a lottery pop from the hurricane wyverns in ifrit's... but how long after you kill him should you go back and try to spawn him again? A group of friends and i are trying to get the spear for our dragoons and any help would be very much appreciated.

Um, every time I've camped him, he's been up pretty fast. No one kills it, so it'll probably be up within an hour of camping it.

What I'd suggest doing is killing wyverns for about an hour. If no pop, then come back another time. If he pops, call LS/friends for help, because it's unlikely that anyone will try to outclaim you on it.

I must admit, one time a PT of RMT outclaimed us while we were resting to full before claiming it. They obviously didn't realize what they were up against. That regen can be really discouraging if I remember right. You just need some really heavy DD. And I think, if I remember, it has a move which resets hate, so tell your tanks to beware!

Because I failed to really directly answer your question:
Most mobs like this are usually about 3-5 hour repop after TOD.

Oh the fond memories ... farming Wyverns and half asleep, not paying attention to names and noticing what i'd pulled when it jumped from 99 back to 100% after crit hits.

vouivre doesn't have a hate reset move unless you count one shot fang rush :D

just has super evasion and regen. bring nin, brd, rdm, blm at least and random /nin melee
