    Having Trouble on Salvage - Zhaloam Remnants

    Well, title says it, how do you go about your Boss runs on this? We can never seem to get close to it, we make it to that floor but very low cell wise for the majority of slots. Any help would be appreciated on route, setup and cell distribution. Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Looking more into it, I don't see how you can even get to the 4th floor poroggo and have it popped without being extremely low cell wise and people mentioned getting through to the boss in the same run? I just don't see it. Help me here

    Went with 12 today, only our 2nd time in Zhaylom.

    4th floor poroggo is a bitch to get to w/o skimping on cells. don't count on getting there without bare minimums.



    especially with 12.


    otherwise, read through the salvage threads more. Assuming you're the dioma on gilgamesh, gimme a /tell and I can prolly answer some questions.

    you have too many people. splitting into 2 groups of 6 will work far better for you.

    this is not entirely true, you can have people designated to be chest openers, people who sac pull, and not to mention in this zone specifically, make discoid MUCH weaker with 12 >.>

    12 people is fine.. given you only plan on going for boss.
    With 6 and experience you could hit both lvl 35 dropping NMs and such, but if you aren't experienced with the zone or the boss 6 people will be a little bit tough until you get the hang of things.

    Discoid is able to be handled with 6 if position is correct... Shell V merited to lvl 3 will reduce Discoid's total damage by like 25.8% or so which would be roughly 3265 damage dispersed over 6 people. 544 damage per person... easily handled, just need tanks to unlock and turn after Discoid so everyone can get stoneskin back up and Curaga II up the damage before another TP move gets fired off. With 12 people Discoid is really weak, just need proper position.

    while i agree 12 is a lot (my runs have 6-12 depending on days, and generally the lower is usually the better), and is a slight over use of AP. i still think it would be better to have a few more than 6 especially if your not familiar with this boss, all it takes is a slight mishap with distance for a face down tank or two. depending on jobs of all 12 they may not have what it takes to split into 2 groups for results.
