Priceless. but knowing SE they would make that a level 38 spell so you have to invite a WHM into a burn party.
    Everyone would just walk.
Yeah, 300g to Aht Urghan, 200 IS for a portal- Free if you're captain. Nyzul Isle isn't that big. I can deal.

    Teleport-Empty Merit Camp

You know you'd invite a WHM if it could get you into an empty merit camp w/o scouting

Re: La Vaulle [S] and Walk of Echos [S] Screenshots

There's not really anything else to see. Those 2 areas are the only interesting ones. The 3 beastmen stronghold have their own BCNM's as well as Throne Room... of course. Glacier and Xarc are unremarkable, there's some black structures here and there, and spikes, and crystal shards strewn around the ground, that's it. Glaciers zone stops before Fei'yin so it's not there. The 3 instanced zones are huge, but look homogeneous just like the TAU assault areas.

The events that take place better be good, because the zones are an absolute snore. As if I hadn't had enough of glacier in the present and dynamis, we get a third barfed up reiteration of it. It's pretty lame they chose to focus solely on Middle lands history and the war, seeing as how the concept has so much potential.

The only other mentionable thing is that beyond the South San'dOria' [S] door to the north there's a small portion of North San'dOria. Similarly beyond the exit from Bastok Markets [S] there's a portion of Port Bastok setup. They are really basic and scale into the distance though so they are probably for CS use only.

Anyways though, back to your regularly scheduled gay Japanese cross dressing blogs, and non-stop merit prattle.

I think we can figure out that his boss thinks he's a weirdo so he ain't getting a damn bonus.
I'm a day late but it's one of these (if Wikichan was up today they have a better description). Omake aren't really supposed to make sense anyway.

I seriously hope this isn't all of the zones, that they are hiding some. Otherwise it is going to be exceedingly lame since they said there would be about as many zones as was in the original game.

There were about 49 zones in the original game (not counting city zones and BC/quazi BC areas) and there are 30 (counting BC and "assault" areas). Those are not similar numbers.

It'd imagine those are definitely for cutscenes... Maybe the door to S. San d'Oria opens in a cutscene and you see into North San d'Oria. However, I believe they may use "present time" zones for cutscenes outside of areas players can visit. For instance, the Bastok quest line had a scene in the Metalworks, and that's clearly a separate zone from Markets (unless that, too, is latched onto Bastok Markets [S]).

Or perhaps the new WHM teleport spells they plan on adding will allow us to teleport directly to a specific maw? That would be pretty handy.
Didnt they say BLM would get a teleport spell? Might have read it wrong, or a wrong info, but I'm certain the post I read said BLM.

My guess will be "teleport-Echo", in a waypoint room where you have access to the 9-12maws

Re: La Vaulle [S] and Walk of Echos [S] Screenshots

Without counting BC areas or cities:

    6 newbie zones
9 zones between Jeuno and newbie regions
    2 for dunes and peninsula
3 city area dungeons (Oubliette, Zehrun, Toraimorai)
2 home region dungeons (KRT, Horutoto)
3 Jeuno area dungeons (Nest, Garlaige, Eldieme)
    3 caves (Maze, Gusgen, Ordelle)
5 subzones (Fort Ghelsba, Yughott Grotto, the magicite rooms)
    3 newbie beastmen strongholds
    3 main beastmen strongholds
    2 for Rangumont and Qufim
    2 for Beaucedine and Xarcabard
    2 for Baileys and Keep

That's 45 so far off the top of my head, plus the ones I forgot to mention.

Re: La Vaulle [S] and Walk of Echos [S] Screenshots

I think what we have to look forward to is pretty much just:

    -Beadeaux
    -Castle Oztroja
    -Davoi/La Vaulle
-Walk of Echoes (I assume this is the limbo between the present and the world of the past?)
-Beaucadine Glacier (will probably be just connected to Batallia Downs.)
    -Xarcabard
    -Castle Zvahl Baileys
    -Castle Zvahl Keep
    -Throne Room (Shadowlord yada yada)
    -Monastic Cavern (could be renamed)
    -Altar Room
    -Qu'lun Dome

Im assuming the crag zones arent gonna be ingame because they connect to the noob zones that they didnt create (N.gusta,E.Saruta,W.ronfaure) unless they make them zoneable from the new zones only.

Unless they have more new zones that will take the place of some of the old zones, or they plan to use multiple copies of old zones for a 'timeline' like progression. hence the small amount of initial zones and [S] for zones..?

Was [S] standing for Shadowreign ever confirmed? or was that just player conjecture?

Is Delkfutt in that list, or was that added with Zilart? I'm assuming Onzozo was added with Zilart because it's symmetrical with Gustav?
