Quick rng question

Ok, so i was wondering... lets say you have a culv+1 rng, and you have a relic gun rng. Idk what relic gun ammo would be, but i do know that culv+1 can use heavy shell. Sombody in my ls said that relic gun rng will always out dmg a culv+1 rng even w/o the 3x proc on barrage. I beleive culv+1 can out dmg of barragex3 does not proc. Can any rngs with these weapons try to give me an answer on the subject? ty for your time

assuming the same conditions, and the same amount of hits connect, culv will do more, it has more base damage, but you cant barrage with a heavy shell anyways, either way, even cannon shells, it should do more outside of the triple proc, and assuming the same # of hits connect
