Saying they lost accounts would make them accountable and therefore people could sue them right ?

With this being said if they will delete the snowmen you better do it since you will lose that storage space. It might also delete the item stored in the snowmans storage space.

Yeah, nothing you can sue them for. You don't actually own your character or anything on it. If SE wanted too they could delete everything on your character, change its name to Molly Poopy Pants and make you have pink hair and there isn't anything you can do about it.

You don't own anything when it comes to the game. They specifically say that in the Terms and Conditions very plainly, and because you don't own it they can within their right do anything they want to the game/your character/your items.

If the item you were told to delete isn't deleted and is used as a storage space for something valuable to yourself then is subsequently deleted by a GM (as they said they would) and you lose the item, it's your fault. Don't play the steadfast and stubborn card when you're just going to lose in the end.

I didn't have any snowmen but a LS friend of mine who did got contacted by a GM middle of yesterday's Dyna-Xarca and told to go drop the snowmen immediately. He was on BLM so he warped himself. I would assume they will hunt down the peeps who defied the GM rule and deal with everyone individually.

be serious here, if there was some 'hack in the servers' hundreds of accounts would be ransacked per day, and many of the known rich people would of been hacked already.

If you got hacked, you either A) gave your info to someone you didnt know or not too good friends with in RL or B) downloaded malware.

In either case, you screwed up.

You dont just get 'Randomly hacked' without SOME form of information leadering the hacker to your user/pass.

Yes SE's ways of helping customers in getting their accounts back after being stolen is fucking idiotic and retarded and should be changed, but that doesnt change the fact its the users fault they got hacked.
