Item Appraisal from Assault (Any tricks?)

Has anyone even gotten a ??? Gloves from Defuse the Threat? My lv 49 PLD is waiting for those gloves to continue leveling, and we've always only gotten Necklaces or boxes.

Some people I've done assault with were over 0/150 on these.

Myself I've done ~200 assaults and the only "good" item I've seen drop so far was Spectacles...

My group didn't see a ??? gloves til around the 40th run or so - which turned into ice gauntlet and we are never going back.

We just got a sigma earring yesterday from red vs. blue and it ended up on the ground.

In Nyzul, we've done 3 discs to 100 and have a fourth at floor 76, I guess around 200 runs in all if you take farming into account. In all that time, I think we've had about 6 interesting items from appraisal, and none of those was really worth much.

We've had some fairly odd items. Spelunker's Hat (maybe 2 of those, not sure), Rikonodo, Mushroom Helm, Lohar, Gloom Claymore, Hanzo Tekko, maybe one or two others.

At the end of the evening we appraise all of the ??? items, and almost all the time it's total garbage, but occasionally there's something in there that makes us go "Wtf is that thing and where on earth did it come from?" :D

It doesn't make sense to put an appraiser all the way out in Nashmau, but this is SE.

I always assumed he was there for the Ashu Talif assaults.
