Unable to enter Limbus

After I obtained the Cosmo-Cleanse and killed an Aw'euvhi for a Black Card I tried to enter Limbus (NE road). To my surprise I didn't get the pop-up screen that lets you choose a road but instead I got the message "There are several six-sided indentations and a thin slot in the center of the circular dais here." Did anyone ever have this problem and know how to fix this? Note: I do have the right card in my 'temporary key items' menu. I also tried zoning and relogging several times, without success.

have you double checked to make certain that the soap is in your key items? I've had trouble with the soap npc in the past where it said that i had purchased soap but for some reason she didn't actually sell me the soap >.>; other than that is it possible that someone in your group started fighting a monster before you tried to enter?

That message is what you will get if you either do not have the right card, or do not have Cosmo-Cleanse. Check your key items, you probably got hit by the bug that causes the NPC to not give you the key item even though it says it did. About half the time when this happens, it even takes your gil, which is really annoying.

GMs spoken to on the issue toe the party line: "File a bug on POL". Though one added the extra info that if a bug is filed every time it happens, the number of seperate bug reports becomes a factor in their internal prioritization for fixing.

There is a glitch where you can have both your card and your cleaner and still not get let it. It's extremely annoying and has happened on several occasions to people in my LS including myself.

Once it even took the cleaner I had but didn't let me in. I went back to jeuno and got another to try to enter with a second group doing a different zone and it wouldn't let me in to that because it said that my party had already engaged.

In essence it had recorded me as going in with the first group even though I was not allowed to enter which prohibited me from going in with another group. This happened to another person as well in the same instance. When both of us disbanded from the party the remaining people were allowed to enter.

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do about it and nothing a GM will do about it other than tell you to file a bug report.

Thanks alot for the info. I went back to Jeuno and indeed was able to buy the Cosmo again (eventhough I paid the 30k before + received the message 'obtained key-item: cosmo-cleanse' in the log). What a shitty glitch>.<; I will report this as a bug. Hopefully SE will do something about this someday soon ;--;

Happened to me once as well, now I manually check my key items every single time I buy cleanse since we almost never have more people than needed to clear any given tower.

I have had this "bug" happen to me too... It usually happens when I am busy chatting on Vent and I just spam through the NPC dialogue and don't notice if I got the soap or not.
