Long Bowed Chariot - Buffed ?

Has anyone else noticed this one buffed?

Last few LBC kills I noticed are much different than the norm, he's been WS'ing back to back, he's hitting much harder, feel like he's using TP @ 100%, and what it feels like is he's in "rage mode" (when his HP is under 25%) but full time.

Other chariots feel normal, this dude seems buffed. He's still killable, by no means is he discoid broke, just a bit tougher than he should be.

dunno about LBC but the zhayolm frogs seemed to be taking higher dmg (1700+ asuran fists).

Re: Long Bowed Chariot - Buffed ?

Heh, we had been using a PLD tank prior but I think...

We did one pre-patch and had like 5m, got him to 50% with MNK's, beat him the next time in 12m for our first actual MNK type kills so I'd say no I guess. Full power HM too.

Maybe you had some type of TP generation on the guy or someone was doing something different, MNK not using AF2 etc.

Killed 2 times since Salvage got fixed, unnerfed HM didn't seem any harder or different than before.

hmm, happened also to Deegan's group, and my small man group that I run @ AU nights. I'd laugh if this was an asura specific problem, but wouldn't be very surprised.

Re: Long Bowed Chariot - Buffed ?

We've had LBC hit a lot harder and faster than normal twice. Both those times we killed 8/10 gears.

Re: Long Bowed Chariot - Buffed ?

We've been "low-manning" with 6-8 recently and other than him cheating by starting HM before he actually turns he has seemed normal to us (on Odin). I blame the HM before turning on lag but it really screws up my stunning

edit: we never kill any gears.

double edit: we always go east and never touch the chariot

I wonder if this is just crazyness or has merit. I know the first time we did LBC (well I did) we did 8/10 and it owned us as MNK's so we did a PLD strat, lately like I said we do MNK's but if we fuck up a gear I don't even bother weakening it anymore now to save time.

Re: Long Bowed Chariot - Buffed ?

last two friday's we've killed nerfed LBCs without a problem.

Though, I think it was spamming ws a good amount yesterday... but could just be my skewed perception as we usually have a cor with monks roll

Re: Long Bowed Chariot - Buffed ?

lol every LBC seems to be like that for us.
Even with just 2 MNK for DD it seems to spam TP.

Re: Long Bowed Chariot - Buffed ?

Yeah so LBC did Homing Missile at 94% today without turnng to face either of us, totally disregarding the fact that he shouldn't have used HM, that was weird and I thought I had some super LBC and were gonna wipe...luckily after that it was a joke. TP moves seemed fine until regain, kept Penance on (Both of us are only 1/3 so it was lol but used it in key spots) and Monks roll. Skadifeet/Aresmaskfuckyoulbc

Re: Long Bowed Chariot - Buffed ?

Seemed stronger than usual to me last time too. Killed 10/10 gears and the chariot, not sure about hitting harder etc. but was using TP a lot more frequently than previous times, I think.

Re: Long Bowed Chariot - Buffed ?

JP member in my group said that LBC has 2 forms:
-If you take the east 4F wing and killd chariot, LBC's movement & attack speed are weakened (HM 95% and under)
-If you take the west 4F wing and killed chariot, LBC's attack and def/magic def rates are weakened (HM 66% or 50% and under I think?)

Not totally sure but this theory is working whenever we attemp LBc either from taking the east or west 4F warp.
