Did Batallia Downs [S] Forrester Beetles starting @ 40 with RDM, BRD, PLD, MNK, RNG, RNG. I feel like the exp would be very good until about 43 or 44, also helps that there's a Pixie wandering around there most of the time.

Hey guys
Im new to the Blu-Ray experience and could do with a little help.
Got home today and set up the Blu-Ray player. The audio is going to my existing surround sound system through optical - but theres a slight delay. This wasnt a problem any other time for TV, normal DVD or X360 but I cant seem to get it right for Blu-Ray. Ive changed the AV delay on the surround sound but doesnt seem to fix it.
Im pretty clueless when it comes to this so Im hoping somebody can help me in the right direction? You all seem a friendly bunch anyway
Uhhhhhhhhhh....
Spoiler: show
AhahahhahHAhha
2 more exp camps, sadly neither for 75's
Camp 1:
Camp 2:Vunkerl Inlet
http://www.ffxi-atlas.com/maps_norma...kerl-inlet.jpg
Where: F-8, Bridge
Level Range: 26/27-30 (exp dies @31, can be stretched to 32)
Mobs: Carrion Marabou, Goliath Beetle
The camp is a perfect alternative to the Yhoat mandies, but can only handle 2 parties, 1 if there is a Bard puller + plvl. If your pt fits that latter, you can get exp comparable to E. Ron birds camp from ~30. At 30 your kill rate will be too high for repops and the puller will need to run to the other side until yours fills back up. There is also a pixie that wanders through that area for an added bonus.
The only negative to the area really shouldn't be an issue. At night there is a ghost that pops at G/H-10 near where you zone in, but it is extremely easy to avoid, otherwise there is no aggro on the way to the camp.
Xarcabard (S)
http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/ff...arcabard-s.jpg
Where: H-9, Outpost
Level Range: 66-69/70
Mob: Gigas's Tiger
I don't have personal experience with this camp, an ls mate has been doing this with a group of JP's that pretty much run the spot. This is a manaburn camp that with a decent set-up (probably a COR thrown in for good measure) exp can fetch 20-25k/hour. If the mobs are set up correctly there should be two Gigas BST's nearby that repop their pets at almost the rate that the other dies. Since SE fixed the Greater Amphiptere pop above the OP, pulling is easy. (If you do manage to pull it down, I'd like to hear how. Our ls wants to farm that pop.)
As to respond to your friend's inquiry regarding that Amphiptere pop, it seems to aggro only when it passes over the higher elevation near the OP. I tried killing it a month or two ago, but couldn't aggro it for the life of me. I pulled it down the other day near the CA though. >_>
A friend and I decided to duo with mnk and blu, and we had a lot of fun doing it with the skeletons around vanadiel. We started around level 55-56, and went straight up until level 75, with no real competition at all.
We did use 2 PLs, one dual-boxed each, a RDM and a WHM, and we got full use out of the WHM's cure 5, as my friend liked to have counterstance up all the time.
We started with the Tomb Mage/warriors in Garliage Citadel (present). Essentially you just have the blue mage (me) pull with a ranged attack, and then dispel the ice spikes and do a few blue mage spells (I used bludgeon and headbutt) while the mnk pounds away on them. We used both behind banishing gate 3 and the tunnel in the basement. (behind gate 3 has weaker mobs, we weren't sure at first how well this was going to work)
We duo'd to 60, then went to Eldieme Necropolis in the past. At that time, incorrect information about the mobs' levels led us to believe they were 65-67, so maybe hold off on this camp until ~62, but it gave us very good exp all the way up until we dinged 67.
From 67-71, we did birds and pots (mostly pot) in sky. At 70, we figured out how to make light skillchains with dragon kick -> sneak attack cannonball, and from here on out we would melee a mob, then execute a mob with that skillchain (undead go down from about ~80% with that skillchain, pots resisted the light but took massive damage from it, so ~60%).
At 71, we fussed around in Gustav tunnel until level 73 on the doom guard and doom warlocks, just past where the spawn point is for bastok 9-1 mission (around g-6 on the second map). I kept a light based sleep just in case of low hp aggro from repops (there were a few) and pulled from either side. Exp is kinda slow here (10k an hour), but its only 2 levels, tough it out.
73 = imps. I went to fulltime pulling and he just pummeled imp after imp that I pulled until 75. We used the camp in caedarva mire that leads to where khaimara pops, and there usually aren't alot of competition for exp camp there. Just be careful of aggroing soulflayers, there is one that wanders around where you pull back. If you get one, run away into the cerb. camp until he tries to cast ancient magic on you, then very quickly logout or DC yourself. If you have 3 shadows and stoneskin, you shouldn't die. If you can use the caedarva mire entrance from Nyzul Isle point, do that, but we hated that every soloer and lookie-loo that passed by always tried to camp on top of us thinking we wouldn't exhaust the imp population *rolls eyes*.
Like I said, we did this with 2 fulltime PLs, but it allowed him to use war sub and berserk/counterstance at will, since they almost always hit like trucks anyway. I think this might work with 2 monks, but with me being blu, I was able to dispel ice spikes and headbutt any ~ga spell, tier 4 nuke, or ancient magic the blm types tried to cast.
^ damn, that's impressive
my blu is 52 currently, I would have loved to have levelled MNK that way, I need to find a MNK buddy to duo with
also, that pretty much cinches it, I gotta dig up my old POL codes for my old lvl 70 RDM account and finish it.. I miss having a 2nd account, even if it's just to get a goddamn tele in jeuno
Thanks ^^
Also, when we did it, my friend borrowed an account, I had a second one, and we capped both healing magic skill and enhancing skill for both the PLs before we hit level 72. Just a little bonus for whoever you are using to PL yourself.
Is there a website listed with all of these camps on it. Just want to know if I could solo in any of these areas because, I'm highly wanting to come back to FFXI.
http://campsitarus.blogspot.com/ it doesn't have any from the last couple pages, though.
Ah I wish there was a site that had all of the updated camps but ah well.
Some of my friends got together with a pretty standard setup and Charged Whisker is nothing short of a massive MP sink. They don't hit all that hard but that AOE Lightning DMG makes these far from a solid choice as an xp target.
Edit: I'm retarded, when I signed up for an account it defaulted to newest post first order and I didn't notice. So I'm sure my warning is too late lol
Tried two camps out:
First was the crab alley that is near the Battalia Downs (S) fortification/ANNM confrontation trigger.
10~ crabs and 2 birds. Started the sync around 25 and there are plenty of mobs to pull so just keep Acid bolts on them. The mobs are between 32-35 so eventually they will start to check between VT-IT and eventually T-VT but there are enough crabs to maintain chains easily. Did I mention how easy it is to get to camp?
Second camp was the Vunkerl Inlet bridge suggested a few posts back. I wouldn't start EXP here before 27 without a PL due to how hard the birds hit. You could pick only beetles and do pretty well without a PL but even at 30 birds were hitting really hard as Helldive mimics Goblin Rush here.
It's a brilliant camp for the level gap and ease of reaching the camp but I have my doubts that a standard party could survive birds without outside healing. That doesn't really matter though as there are more than enough beetles to feed a single party on both sides of the bridge.
Lastly, if the bridge posted a while back happens to be taken there is another bridge further north with the same type of mobs.
