We had it for about a year but ran into money problems. Basically fuck the people running big companies telling you "you will be here a long time, so you won't have any troubles with payments on that truck" (not exactly, but you get the point), only to fire you 2 weeks later. It wouldn't exactly have been my truck anyway, it was my dads, but I would drive it to school and wherever the fuck else I wanted to go. >

EDIT: Also, it comes like that, that guy didn't do anything to the truck that I can see.

93 Toyota Corolla, bought it in 98 for $3k. Had 10k miles on it, has 130k on it now; replaced the brakes once, tires twice (+1 tire maint because of a flat), and the front right headlights cuse of a lolpiece of wood. And it's still kicking like a champ.
$20 a week for gas for near full tank with driving about 60 miles a day.

I think I got my moneys worth out of it, thinking about getting a 4x4 truck or similar.

This was my ride in college. She took me across the country east to west three times, and north to south 5 times (4 east coast, 1 west coast) Doesn't look like much, but there was a lot of work in it, including a TV & PS2/Xbox for the long drives.

One day on my way to work, an 86 year-old man names Jose Sanchez blew a stop sign and T-boned me in his Geo Metro. This was just after I'd put a 6" lift\on, so his little crapcan acted more like a wedge than a car hitting me in the side. This was the result:
