Hows it work over there?
No its an ESI instead of a TSI ; ; (At least its not the shitty DL), ESI has the same size engine as the TSI with all the same components, I could hook a turbo up to it pretty easily if I had one but I dont have much cash atm lol.Originally Posted by Remy0
Just got to hop in and pop that sucker in reverse and you're good. I doubt a few thousand pounds of tree could stop that beast!
the n/a versions of the engine weren't built with the internals to handle the turbocharger, and to beef the engine bottom up to add a turbo + adding a turbo and intercooler, plus electornics and tuning would be more expensive than getting a better 2nd generation car with a turbo on it already. unless you wanted to of course.Originally Posted by kazen
Yeah it would be cheaper to get a new engine completelyI like it though, Its still pretty quick even without the turbo. My friend has the turbo version though, and its fun to drive lol.
Damn, i wouldn't last a month there (U.K I'm guessing). Our Traffic regulations are not very strict, but its getting better, we are taking alot from the Europian rules/regulations. We have suspensions, and bans only on major or fatal accidents.Originally Posted by Popeh

'92 toyota Camry, had 203k miles on it...
then this happened:

The entire frame was shifted, front and rear end smashed, impact at 45-50mph. No injuries... Thank God!
So now I drive a '95 camry, just a different color. Same great gas mileage though. Just drove from Jacksonville FL, to Lakeland, FL. Then I drove back, and then drove 50 more miles. 480 miles to the tank.
