Obviously he's gay. Hating something is the same thing as being obsessed with it. For example, I don't like cats. Actually, I hate them. Therefore I secretly want to have sex with them.
Edit: Huckabee is batshit insane anyway, you should have known this already anyway
I'm sure as hell glad I don't believe the same things I did 10 year ago, nonetheless 15 lol
whooshed >_> sorry, figured it wouldnt be as effective if i put "rofl jk" at the end of that statement.Originally Posted by archibaldcrane

Huckabee was in his 30s/40s or something. Kind of a big difference.
Mike Huckabee isn't some monster that is hunting down homosexuals with a gun. His statements seem to only show his ignorance of AIDS and HIV. Personally, I like him more so than most republicans these days.
This was 15 years ago lol, a lot has changed...Originally Posted by BRP

Studies show that if a gay person walks by you on a sidewalk the higher chance you'll have of spontaneously breaking out in AIDS. Also gays will make you rape your children.
It's true! I read it on the internet.Originally Posted by Stolin

If your asking about if he thinks they should have the same rights as a married couple then I doubt it. If your asking about his opinion, then probably.Originally Posted by Correction
Mike Huckabee & Chuck Norris have their queer stomping boots on.
Vin Diesel can take 'em both no problem.

My point is Huckabee was willing to forego sanity in public policy to score points with the conservative right in 1992 by saying things like 'gays spread disease.'
What he's saying now to cover what he said then is more of the same, "15 years ago" notwithstanding. He doesn't want to look like an idiot, but he won't renounce what he said back then, either. "I was just saying what everyone thought in 1992" slaps AIDS research from back then in the face. We knew what caused/spread AIDS in the early 1990s and by 1992 it wasn't just gay people dying of it. His contrition extends to 'I didn't know better' instead of 'I'm sorry for scapegoating the gays' because it's politically safe with his constituency, and that's pretty crummy. Sad part is I doubt any Republican in the field would do differently.
Romney has recounted his beliefs on abortion.
