Byakko's Haidate drop rate?

Well I've been next in line for literally a couple months and this thing just won't drop. We are 1/15 as of tonight. (And the person who was able to lot vs me and won quit ffxi 2 weeks later.)

I think the rate is around 50% from what I see but the more you want em the less likley they are to drop.

The drop rate automatically goes down when you're next in line. Honest to God.

2/8-10 or so Kirins, on w legs, then I was next in line.

At the time that I quit the game our LS had gotten a pair on 14 Byakko in a row; I have no idea if the streak continued, but I thought it was pretty interesting.

It only drops if you're not lotting or if there's 10 people lotting against you and you'll lose lots anyways.

Streak with 8 in a row, then nothing for months and then 4 back-to-back.

Recently we got 2/2 on a full moon run though.

Drop rates also decrease when your expectations are slightly less than realistic.
