It sure would be nice if they would allow a decent amount of normal players on their test server, for bug testing and feedback before they go live. Real world scenarios will always be better than whatever methods they're using now. Subjecting their paying customers to updates that they know full well will need tweaking isn't a very smart approach. Just pulling this out of my ass, but maybe it's a cultural thing, where they like to keep everything under wraps until it's released. I'd hope that by now they would have caught on that surprising the community with buggy updates/expansions isn't worth the surprise factor.

That being said, the updates really aren't that bad, and they're spaced far enough apart that it doesn't impact me that much.

Look, I can kinda get bitching random maints for no reason, but as it stands, so far everything has had some reasonable explanation; there have been issues with Campaign and other things related to the expansion. Remember, they wrote it and coded it for what they thought was best, but only testing by the whole userbase can show what is and isn't best. They're taking our suggestions and improving it. Constant Campaign music getting on your nerves, despite nothing happening? That was fixed immediately, among numerous others.

Of course, there are bug fixes. People, it takes TIME to do this. You take care of bugs as you can, and when its released live to your end-users, sometimes its best to get the updates out as fast as you can... which means maint. You should feel lucky that they're only 2 hours so far. But of course, people will bitch about the 5 hour maint the other night, which was emergency all said. What can you do about it? If suddenly servers are crashing and they find the problem exists across all servers, would you rather wait until your world crashes, or get the problem solved asap? And hell, considering most people bitching here are NA, the fact that it happened late at night should have been non-complaint worthy.

As for this one coming up? Its coming with an update, which might shut the rest of you bitching about the lack of AF for the new jobs, maybe more content for WotG, Christmas event, and of course, more fixes to those problems you're all complaining about. I mean, whats the point in complaining about bugs/content/etc and the complaining when they move to fix it. Then again, I guess most people would rather sit their asses in the Aery 24 hours a day and be done with it. Sorry, I forgot.

SE is fucking up some things, I agree, but you complain about them fucking something up, and then complain when they have to shut the servers down to fix it. What do they need to do to make you happy? Deliver you all Ridills in the middle of the night like fucking Santa Claus? Oh wait.....
