New Nvidia drivers for FFXI.

Right-click Computer (either on desktop or from start menu) and select Properties, and an information screen will pop up where it'll say if it's 32 or 64 bit.

It doesn't say. Do I need to look in one of the tabs?

Uninstall the nvidia display drivers first, restart your computer, enter safe mode (This part is optional, but I do it), run driver cleaner, restart, install new drivers.

How do I uninstall the drivers? Also what do I choose under "cleaning selection" in Driver Cleaner?

I uninstalled the cleaner awhile ago, but if I remember there should be boxes with different names next to them. Click the box next to nvidia display drivers (Or something of the sort).

There isn't boxes, it's more like a window you scroll through and pick items from. In Driver Cleaner I see Nforce Chipset, Nvidia, Nvidia Control Panel, Nvidia Stero, and Nvidia WDM. Which do I choose?

Wonder if this boosts the FPS of windowed mode as well, got a nice constant 4fps doing Bahamut2 the other day once engaged, wtf.

On a random subject, when the heck did driver downloads become 70+ mb? I miss the days when they were just 15mb for NA, and 25-40mb for international.

Click + next to Display Adapters to expand

Right click your gfx card(s), uninstall.

don't need silly programs to uninstall for you.

If your card isn't listed. I suggest you don't install them. If you're going to anyways, it's at your own risk.

Anyone have any idea how i can get this installed on my PC? I keep getting the error that i'm not running 32-bit Vista and I know i'm definitely on that (Ultimate Version). It's a desktop so i dont see why i'm getting the error.

Any PC guru know what's causing this and/or how i can get around this???

I used to get this error when I uninstalled the driver's completely, then rebooted. Let Vista reinstall there driver's. Then i would delete those as well. Then install the new driver's. Once you delete the driver's, after reboot and Vista installs, just run the download an I think it should be fine after that.

These drivers bluescreened my laptop. And yes, I did uninstall the previous drivers, I have a HP dv6000 with a Geforce 6150.
