Undeletable file

So fellow BGers I seem to have gotten a file that won't go away.

Here is what I have tried

Move-on-boot - No luck
Booting into safe mode with command prompt - no luck
Booting into safe mode, starting command prompt, killing explorer, then trying to delete - no luck
Access denied in all 3

Straight deleting while windows is running. Disk is full or write protected.

Booting in with HELIX, write protected.


Other options?

See if it's running in the process list and end it. Or google it. Besides that, I can't think of anything else short of reinstalling windows.

It isn't running during boot, and google turns up nothing.

scanning and rebooting now to make sure it is gone.

It's often just a dumb XP glitch and you can simply rename the file as filename.txt and delete it as normal.

I wish it was that simple. Unlocker was the only thing that worked for me.
