Um... no? Still Life is probably their best album like... ever. It's one of my favorite albums of all time and every song on there is fucking awesome, except like the first half of Face of Melinda, it's a little slow and boring but it's still pretty cool. So I don't know what you're talking about.Originally Posted by Kiro

Anyways
Daft Punk - Alive 2007 for me
Only album I purchased this year.
Linkin Park - Minutes to Midnight
Streetlight Manifesto - Somewhere in the Between
That's about it for this year :/
Am I retarded or is there a reason I-Tunes doesn't seem to carry any Radiohead albums?
Probably Radiohead themselves, they're real weird about allowing much mass release of their crap.Originally Posted by Tonko

Usually itunes make it easy but I had to do my radiohead stuff manually

:< I could see where he is coming from if he doesn't really like the heavy Opeth, but how can you not? lolOriginally Posted by ertyu
I agree with Still Life being one of their best, even if you aren't a fan of those albums you have to admit that Still Life is also probably the best showcase of Opeth's guitar/songwriting/vocal talents.
Blackwater park and Damnation and Deliverence were sex. Leper Affinity is my favourite song... Opeth is the only metal I can really like... Unless you call Dillnger escape plan and Psyopus metal then I lie <_<
DEP goes with #12 under mathcore i think
either way DEP is win

Steel Train - Tramoline
They are better live. There are a few great songs on there, but more decent ones.

Scary Kids Scaring Kids - Scary Kids Scaring Kids
This one was pretty good as well. What's strange is that this isn't their first album but it is self-titled. They have 2 other CDs.
Ace Enders started making demos after The Early November started their hiatus. His stuff is coming along well.
2 good albums from late last year that have been mentioned, but should be again.

Brand New - The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me

The Mars Volta - Amputechture
Can't wait for Bedlam in Goliath coming out in January! (18th I think?) Also seeing them on the 14th!
Moros Eros - I Saw The Devil Last Night And Now The Sun Shines Bright. I think that came out in 07 <_<
After listening to The Cool by Lupe Fiasco for the past 3 days.. I'd have to nominate that as my album of the year.
