This is pissing me off, and i dont understand it.

I mean, for the love of God, with love there is care, with caring comes protection of some kind, and with that there is jealousy. Ok, so her body does impress me, no doubt about it. But she forgot about the other people in the venue she's impressing. you know, its not like its password protected -_-" I think its just an excuse for attraction. Yes, women love that, but it doesn't make it right. I know lots of women who cover up respectibly(sp) and no they're not just muslims, christians and aethists too. I dont like it, I don't understand it, it's driving me nuts! I told several of my ex-GFs before: "I dont like what you're wearing, please wear something else" THEY DO IT TO US, SO WTF! and oh God, how guys undress her (or whatever is left) with their eyes if your spouse does come out with something revealing her body, and it makes me feel very uncomfortable, like i'm her pimp or something: "Hey guys come look at what i got". I dont like the fact that she's advertising her body, or atleast thats how i look at it.

I know this should be in the "whats pissing you off" thread, but i need replies and perhaps a discussion on the matter.

My take is, as long as she's coming home with you at the end of the night then let her show herself off. Her dressing like that in a certain way is saying she's proud of you, because not only does she get attention for what she's wearing, but you get attention because you're her man.

Firas - Bottom line is you need to tell your girl it bugs you. But do it in a nice way so she doesn't get all offended.

I used to dress to impress, and I thought my boyfriend liked it. He never told me until months later that it bothered him. I had no idea. I felt kinda bad at first, and I got a little defensive (was he calling me a slut?!) But he described it as that he found subltey(sp) more sexy. And that aside from the jealousy factor, he didn't understand why I needed to feel acceptance from strangers, as if I wasn't getting enough from him. But that wasn't the case. So now I dress a bit more classy, but we have found many ways to feel sexy out in public together, without it being a big show.

hard to say, never had this issue personally. extremes are never good but i can't tell if you're talking about extremes or if you're just insecure like Neosutra says. i've had my friends complain about the same thing but their girls all looked within acceptable limits when i saw them.
