Re: NFL Week 15 Picks *What color is NYJ blood?*

Yeah, he was voted posthumously, which is great of the fans and such to do for him. He's going as a starter as well, so I'm curious of if they'll go out with 10 men on the field. Then again.. doing that against Tom Brady may not be too wise D:

Also, I agree on the snubs. Poor Winslow and Mario.. they're just in a conferance that's full of way too much talent. No way Winslow will get more votes than Gonzy or Gates. As far as Colston goes, he was a big wtf. How can you overlook him? He has more yards than all the pro-bowl vote getters, the third most TDs.. just nuts.

Also another thing. Marion Barber may have 11 TDs, but what the hell at him going? Also, snubbing Fred Taylor like that and putting in Addai is insane. Granted Addai has had a decent year, Taylor has ran for 5.1 yards a carry while Addai is at 4.1. Just don't see it. LT has a 4.7 average, but gotta think that's great considering he ran for 2.9 earlier in the year, lol. Oh well. lolProBowl.

Brady, Moss, and almost the whole Pats O line for the AFC, along with a few others to make 8 total Pats. Dallas has 11 guys going, I think. Super Bowl Round 2?

EDIT: Pro Bowl talk, just to clarify

if jackson hadnt had that terrible start then injury he would be the third back from the nfc for sure, but really the nfc just isnt very impressive at the position. i think barber finished something like second out of all running backs for fan voting so that probably had a lot to do with it. you could make arguments for portis i guess but when it comes down to it MB3 is just more exciting to watch (imo at least) and has been extremely clutch for the cowboys even though his numbers might not say it.

in the end i doubt any of the NFC rbs do anything in the probowl when you have mofos like haynesworth, williams, and wilfork clogging up the middle.

I really don't much that much stock in the Pro-Bowl selections because it's just one big popularity contest.

That people are watching less and less each year, because it means nothing.

I really don't have any interest in watching the Pro Bowl, but that doesn't make it any less fun to talk about.

Pro Bowl is insane; No Jags whatsoever. No Mario Williams, a huge wtf at Colston not making it also. Although Kellen Winslow plays TE in the AFC which immediately put him behind Gates and Gonzalez despite having an outstanding season. As the season and playoffs progress you will see more and more people pull out of the Pro Bowl and alot of the names mentioned in this thread will be vindicated and put on the team as alternates before February.

Like Daahan said, it really boils down to a popularity contest over actual talent or having a good season in many respects.
