Looking for a new good MMO

So I recently started FFXI again... I got super board of the wait time and I really just can't stand it anymore. So I'm on the hunt for a new MMO. Recently I've been looking at Tabula Rasa, LOTRO, DDO, (NOT WOW I CAN'T SEE MYSELF DOING 1-80 AGAIN), and Hellgate. I guess I'm just looking for opinions... My friend suggested to try City of Heroes so I might try that out. Ugh opinions please BG ! I tend to get bored without an MMO.

CoH/CoV is fun, but there isn't that much to do once you finish levelling. That's either a good thing or a bad thing depending on who you ask. You could try 9Dragons, but they say it turns into a grindfest eventually. My dad likes Vanguard, but then he liked SWG up until the overhaul.

There's also Tabula Rasa, Two Moons and good old RO (they say modded servers are fun), but I've never tried or seen those.

I've tried a lot of MMOs. I have a lvl 50 Minstrel in LoTRO, and I cancelled my sub after waiting 3 months for some decent content, but it all blows once you it 50. The only good games that I continue to play are FFXI and EVE.

Tabula Rasa = Awful, no content whatsoever. 3 Day Trial available

Pirates of the Burning Sea = They are in Open Beta right now for Fileplanet subs, so I tried it. Got bored at lvl 11. It's actually one of the worst games I've ever played... and tbh I cannot believe the devs will let it out the door.

DDO = Kind of fun, it reminds me of PSO in a fantasy setting. (Gather quests in one maincity, go to instanced dungeon/area and beat the mission) Trial available for this as well.

Lord of The Rings Shadows of Angmar reminds me entirely of World of Warcraft. But, the graphics are somewhat better and the classes are fun, well, Minstrel is fun to me atm. Bear in mind, I'm only a Lv.6 Hobbit Minstrel, so I can't give you a definite answer on the game, but lot more things can be done than FFXI. Yay for 3 hrs windows!

When all else fails, fall back on a free Korean grindfest for a bit. There's many to choose from, personally I like to go back to good old Ragnarok Online. Very few can resist the adorable spritely goodness of RO.

If you're into PvP, I'd suggest Guild Wars. Caps at level 20, which you can easily get just by completing the main storyline. The main drawback for me is that the game is largely centered around PvP, although with the Eye of the North expansion, they started to move toward more PvE content. The game is fully instanced, and a lot of stuff can be soloed with the right job setup (several quests in EotN are designed to be soloed). Also any major accomplishments you make will be saved and accessible in Guild Wars 2.

I download RO every couple months when I'm bored, play it for a month straight then delete it >_> Usually because something pops up on WoW. But if you get RO, private servers are more fun than the real thing imo.

Korean beta only started oct 30th, and is still running. They leaked that the US beta may be in the "first few months of 08" with a "release date later in the year". I am anxiously awaiting this game, though I suspect it'll be a lot like ffxi, with prettier graphics, minus tarus (), with fewer jobs.
