christmas plans for couples?

so there are some people who are couples/married in bg, yea? christmas is about 2 weeks away, and ive started thinking of what to do during christmas with my gf. last year was really fucking boring, a typical movies and dinner so im trying to arrange some events or whatever... but nothing seems really special atm.
i was thinking of going to an amusement park, then bring her out to a pre-prepared candle-lit place in a park for dinner and presents (mittens, mufflers, ~100 paper roses that i'll make) for finale. but shit, i'd need like 200 candles and it'd end up being like 200-300USD probably, and high schoolers over here arn't really rich lol

i'd like to hear what other people have planned for their special girl/guy/whatever, maybe we can all get some good ideas from each other lol

you get those special spas for couples (I always wanted to try them, they look like a winner). then you go to a club/bar, get a little tipsy, then you head home with a your dinner, eat it infront of the TV, and make mad holiday love on the couch. OH YEAH! thats only if you and her are over the legal age though =\

Check and see if there are any holiday musical performances going on in the area (Handel's "Messiah", etc.). Pair that with a nice dinner beforehand and you've got a real classy evening. Or if you prefer a night in, do some baking together. Christmas cookies, pie, w/e. It's old-fashioned and simple, but sometimes those are the best dates.

I'd say just get her something nice and spend time at each other's house with family. It's Xmas, not valentine's day

My wife and I will exchange gifts X-mas eve morning than at night spend it at my grandmas with my family then Xmas day at her moms house with her family. No need to spend more money, it's Xmas spend it with family together if possible.

nothing like that, i guess i just 'want to' do something for her since she's an exceptional person to me, helped me adjust to korean life and alot of stuff in general
i havnt spent a xmas with family for the past 4 years btw lol, i think in asia generally xmas eve is spent with family and xmas with couples/friends. think the candle idea was a out of reach wish though, musical performance sounds pretty relaxing and nice. maybe theatre performances will work out too? not sure what girls think about this
