Last I heard Roger Clemens is going down ;o

I was reading on the paper this morning about this.
There is supposed to be a ton of All Stars and MVPs that are going to be named in this report. ESPN ratings will be going nuts tonight that's for sure.
We know that Clemens is on it, as well as Giambi. Apparently the yankees are going to get hit hard. That's SHOCKING considering who did the report lol.
I've been waiting a long time to see this. I bet there's going to be some really wtf names on it.
Remind me why Barry Bonds is going to jail again? /sigh

For perjury. But by the same token Palmeiro's ass should go also, he had the nerve to go to Capitol hill waving his finger claiming to never have taken "Anything". But there is no doubt that Bonds is the scapegoat and the face of this issue. I mean just last week there were 3 new names released but no one probably either A) Remembers the names or B) even knows the names. That in itself is unfair, I will admit. Steroids in baseball is much larger than Barry Bonds.Originally Posted by Deejay

Where are so should the names Mcguire, Sosa, Clemens, Giambi (Atleast he manned up to it) David Segui, Rick Ankiel, Canseco [Insert 4000 other random names here]
Should be an interesting read nonetheless. An interesting fact that I found out this morning is that not even the players on the list know that they are on the list. They will find out at the same time that the rest of the world does. I found that odd.
I was listening to the radio this morning, a lot of people called in wondering why Rafael Palmeiro isn't gong to jail for lying to congress about steroids.
It's going to be really interesting to see how people react if Roger Clemens or any other "venerable" players really did take roids. Barry Bonds has a lot to gain from this.
Time the Mitchell report goes public: 2:00 PM EST
Time the Mitchell report gets swept under the rug with all the non-Barry Bonds steroid alegations: 2:01 PM EST
read that on lolfoxsports.com
This is the sad truth. I guarantee that players who are still active that show up in the Mitchell report will still be getting voted to the all-star game, cheered on by the fans, re-signed to huge contracts, etc. etc. - all media and fan rage will -still- focus on the Bonds trial. Makes me hope he gets off.Originally Posted by Deejay

Pujols wouldn't be a surprise as his trainer was linked with roids last year. As Yankee fan, I wouldn't be surprised with Clemens or Pettitte being on it.
ROFL @ Rich Garces being on it.

Yea if you ignore the fact the dude broke the most prestigious record in sports and still proclaims his innocence.Originally Posted by archibaldcrane

Translation: Cheating is only bad if you're breaking records and/or not Rafael Palmeiro because he didn't break ANY records.Originally Posted by blister1

God damnit, the Brewers almost got away clean - until we signed Eric Gagne to a 1-year 10M deal like 3 fucking days ago.

No Reds players, so far anyways. Should be obvious they don't do roids because they suck so hard.
Griffey Jr. is clean so I'm happy.

Anyone else NOT surprised John Rocker is on the list?
Just glancing over it on my way out the door, I'm kind of surprised seeing Nomar and Pudge on the list.
