    Re: A scholarly proposal on proofreading the Arts books.

    Mm... my question though would be... for those really *this* concerned about enfeebling skill, do you really need that extra boost of enfeebling points? I mean, there are always going to be drawbacks to abilities for any job/subjob, so to do something that would then make one job DEFINITELY THE ONLY FUCKING RIGHT CHOICE FOR A SUBJOB kinda...

    This is how I see it, really; yes, the casting time is poopy and whatnot, but... Para and Slow you get that skill boost, you can swap out a piece for more MND then, fabulous, help the potency. But how often are you going to want to -ga those, really? Now... Silence I can see wanting to use -ga with maybe, which you don't need the MND build for so can go full skill gear and thus not need the boost from Dark Arts.

    I'd see more usage out of Graviga than Paralyga or Slowga, honestly; I don't really see that this needs changing. If you make it too perfectly lined up, then you make this particular job, esp as a sub, too overpowered and pigeonhole stuff too much. :/

    I don't really see a problem with that.

    So many other jobs are pidgeon-holed in to using just one subjob, why should I complain about making /SCH better at using white enfeebles? Its not like WHM/SCHs would suddenly become overpowered. Not to mention that I would still see myself using /BLM for stuff. Using /SCH would still mean losing Elemental Seal, Sleep and Sleepga from /BLM.

    Ah, civilized discourse. Just as planned. :bagel:

    I understand it might take some recoding on Light and Dark arts to do so- but a Scholar's Grimiore is supposed to make the use of the appropriate spells more effective. Right now, in many cases it's not. To me, that's a flaw in the job that should be recitified, along with refining the display to allow people to more easily track which book is active at any given time.

    And for now, the following stuff is ON NOTICE!

    I'm still trying to get over "Fantasies of Jane Fonda" being on notice. ; ;
