I don't see how SE would ever wander away from symphony-type music for the FF series...it's like subway no longer making subs!

After Famitsuu talked with Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura about his company's upcoming DK Sigma 3713 Private Party 2008, the magazine also quizzed the director and character designer about the status of the various projects in which he is involved.

Among the company's three major cellphone releases (3rd Birthday, Kingdom Hearts Coded and Final Fantasy Agito XIII), the first one to be released in Japan will probably be Kingdom Hearts Coded.

huh? Lost Odyssey was like straight up RPG style with the Guard Condition twist though, I think it'll be different than that.

huh? Lost Odyssey was like straight up RPG style with the Guard Condition twist though, I think it'll be different than that.

I was thinking more in terms of how you choose commands before they're displayed and played out... in LO you essentially choose the commands and then see them playing out, only in LO it's stuck to the turn-based style.

Either way, as long as it's nothing like FF12 i'll be happy.

For some reason the XIII trailers don't do anything for me.

Usually I'm really excited for new FFs, but something about the Versus trailer made me think "ehh". I do like how the main character in XIII is a female, reminds me FF6 in a way.

Maybe it's because FF10 (Tidus ruined the game for me), FF3 DS, FF12 Relevent Wings, Crisis Core, and FF12 were mediocre to me. The last game that really got me hooked was 8.
