This is your second notice that you owe a pending balance for PlayOnline services. It consists of Content ID fees for FINAL FANTASY XI and/or Tetra Master and is now over two months past due. In order to pay this balance, log into PlayOnline and follow the on-screen instructions. Please note that this is your last chance to submit your payment online! Also, be aware that leaving your balance unpaid could jeopardize your credit rating.

since always. technically you are in breech of contract by not paying while content ID's are active. they can and will ruin your credit over it, and would be able to take you to court over it.

They're not going to actually hurt your credit from such a small thing lol. Even most apartments won't hurt your credit if you stop paying and its only a couple months worth. I'm a senior in engineering so I'm not the master of law but half my extended family are lawyers and they explained this to me when I broke a lease a couple years ago . They were correct as well.

The apartment constantly threatened to hurt my credit but never did since it was more expensive to them to follow the procedures even if it meant that i would then pay them. The burden of proof is on them btw. If you see it hurt your credit they have to do some reasearch if you contact them promptly.

It is always possible you will get the super dick company that will do it (this could be SE judging by their stolen char policies + all the other FU policies i've seen since pc release) but it will end up costing them more and then still the same bill for you. You can just write them that letter and then you can pay with no hurt to your credit.

They can attack your credit over $24 and quite often they will. Although chances are you will not have your credit suffer its still something to take seriously.

Every business sends a message out along those lines. If you've ever been late on a bill they all will send you a carbon copy warning that failure to pay said bill could impact your credit rating and be permanently affixed to your credit history.
