    if you log out on a boat and it docks, you'll be logged on at the dock, regardless if a current boat is still in transit

    I'm not sure that's 100% true. I've disconnected on an airship ride before, and when I reconnected I was back on the airship... going the opposite direction.

    And I swear I'm not making that up! It really pissed me off having to take three airship flights in a row just to get to Jueno!

    Although it may not be the same for the boat since it IS a different zone for each way. Plus, I really doubt AA's pop condidition is "nobody on the boat". That's just silly.

    Ugh. I don't want to argue semantics, but I was counting the ride I got d/c'ed on as a full ride. Basically it took me 30 minutes instead of 10 to get where I wanted to (+ a few for stopover time). Or 15 minutes each way. Whatever. Focus on the penguin!

    As for the AC thing, I'll say it again. AA has popped on Diabolos, which has not lost the AC. So unless anyone can refute that, and knows Diabolos has indeed lost the AC, then I think that rules it out as a pop condition.

    This is good to know.

    And I wasn't saying that "no one on the boat is a pop condition." I was saying that I don't think people *need* to be on the boat for it to pop. As in, it can pop if no one is there, or if we are and it's the right circumstances/luck/whatever really pops it.

    When I get home tonight I'll ask the gate guard in Whitegate how long we've held the AC. That should be ample evidence to squash that myth.

    You can't trade items to enemies. Unless you're suggesting that you can use a certain item on them or that Mystery Apkallu No.7 is a NPC penguin.

    I dunno about that Diablos pop.. Can someone in Diablos just scan a app and see if it shows up? I don't trust that pic I used to have a program like that and it would be unreliable to say the least.

    As far as I know, you cannot trade things to mobs that spawn with yellow names (The apkallu you can trade to in Zhayolm have green names.) If I'm wrong on this, please correct me, but I can't think of any exceptions.

    It's not even close to the same thing.

    Lonely = way to pop him
    Doesn't like to be left alone = despawns if you dont kill

    Something on another forum happened to catch my eye and I thought it might be relevant. Their answer to the third question from the interview made it sound like 3 had something to do with the spawning process.
    Perhaps it requires that a PUP, BLU and COR be on the boat.
    Would make sense since it wouldn't be the first time SE has made 3 jobs unite for a common goal. If this doesn't work, I officially join the "Apkallu #7 is the PH and is broke" camp.

    requiring certain jobs, let alone 3 different people on 3 different jobs, is a pretty big requirement... and i don't recall there being any real thing in the game that requires 3 different jobs to unite, except for the horutoto mage gate, which actually is logical.

    apkallu are mnks, there's no connection between them and blu/cor/pup... aside from blu learning yawn which isn't really a connection either

    But I stand yb the fact that it *does not* require *anyone* to be on said boat! People on servers say it's popped. No one has seen it. pretty sure it's been popping without anyone around.
