I watched the video that charly sent me, it actually wasn't that spammy with TP with 1 person soloing it, but he did use his TP anytime it got 100%, so it looks like Madame behaviour. If 3 people were feeding it TP I can see it being spammy, 2 or 1 person looks plenty.

Remember that video of the person who Dat Swapped? (it's in the old topic somewhere). He killed AA with relative ease and little to no struggle. And if I recall, them things on the boat are stupidly weak and easy to kill. With the speed/strength that AA is hitting at, I think it's legit ... 8)

Did they check if they were the only 2 people on the boat? I'm assuming they didn't kill it since you didn't mention it, but if they did what (if anything) dropped?

Judging by the screenshots, no. There are no mob deaths from the time of zoning until they fought it. It was probley up when they zoned.

Look at the screenshots again, there is no way these are fakes based on that alone. And the "enstun" effect was something posted on wiki correct? I could go to wiki right now and post that Kirin uses Meteor, but that doesn't make it true.

You know, no matter how many times I tell this to people who tell me, "But it's on the wiki, it must be true." they don't seem to get it.

the whole Enstun originated from JP websites, not the wiki. Most jp sites include enstun in their info on AA, but support no proof... it didn't hurt to believe this before, but now we know it's not the case

The screenshots look like everyone was getting their respective asses handed to them, while dealing little or no damage in return. Little guy looks pretty brutal. Probably no drop pics as of yet

Wonder if hes a true 21-24 lottery or if its just like pirates where hearing the birds towards the beginning of the trip with a party means hes gonna pop.

in all seriousness, at the time the boat docked it was at around 1-2%. the WAR had stated one more RR would have killed him but we never got to see it. both WHM's were out of MP by this point, and I was about to Devotion the other WHM to try and get a Holy or Banish or something off. Didn't make it though.

The sound effects of the birds are heard at the end of the boat ride at least 90% of the time if not 100%. He is stating that the birds were heard from the beginning of the trip.

Maybe I didn't write that properly. I was told that the birds seemed more noticable at the *end* of the trip, sorry if I made confusion with that. I was not there though, so that may not really be based on truth.

As far as soloing this thing, if it even pops not in a party, i don't see how anyone could solo this. It seems to have huge HP and really high defense and hits hard and quick.

En-Stun? I don't know about it displaying messages, I just know the WAR said he kept getting stunned by it. He stopped casting shadows halfway through the fight because between the Paralyze, Sleep, Shadows, G-Axe delay, he was having a hard time actually swinging at the bird.

and are you sure the person heard birds at the end of the trip? i think the birds that make the sound only fly on the wg>nashmau boat.... i know theres some birds flying over a pirate ship at the beginning of the ride to wg, but i dont recall any at the end
