Not like me saying this would dispel doubts but I know all three of the people from gilgamesh who fought it (that one party). They would have no reason to lie about it and aren't the kind of people who would do that anyway.

My money is on some sort of incredibly low spawn chance each ride or maybe some sort of lotto (again, incredibly low chance). It would explain why it's so rare and why it can go days / weeks without showing up if it's not a window sort of thing (might have a min window or something). Also explains the "lots of luck" clue.

My money is also on a ninja fix to it because three people reported it at virtually the same time on different servers after months of nothing.

That photo above is my biggest point of contention with the pics of the fight. The galka in the party was towering over "AA", and it was the same size as the normal apkallu next to it; whereas the pic above, AA is nearly as tall as the Hume F. Bad angle on the pic? Two sizes for AA? who knows.

2. In the picture with the galka.. that you are sayin its the same size as another Apkallu.. its bending over doin a tp move.. so that is unjustified too...

i have three more pictures i took from fight, this was from the beginning of fight while we were trying to move away from Yawn. Maybe this will help with size of AA. I didn't melee so I didn't get to see him super close for long.

I've been seeing "Doesn't like to be left alone.." quite a bit. Maybe he has Rose Garden spawn conditions ? (need to not kill the Apkallu PH for a certain amount of time) or can only pop if PH untouched and during Wind Weather ? Just a thought

What is it's estimated level? Would mamushito+1 and poison potions work well for tanking it?

I mostly meant the SSs would be harder to replicate, chat logs probably not as hard but for actual SSs. And you would think somewhere in there they would mess up and get caught. Seems legit to me.

I think simply the fact that Charly hitting for 166 damage and it barely denting the life bar is a good indication. Not to mention there being those shots of a normal Apkallu literally right next to it and it being a good bit smaller.

charlyyyyy Thanks for the video~ I can see that it's earthsday. What else was going on in the world when it all happened? Since you're posting, we'd like to hear as much as you can tell us. Did you guys do anything odd? Use any abilities? Or did it just pop onto the boat 30seconds into the ride?

We're trying to find if there is a way that we can control the spawn and hoping that it's not just some ridiculously large window...

Nothing was happening that I'm aware of. Also, I don't remember seeing any besieged announcements near that time, and in the last screenshot you can see a /clock stamp to see all of the info that gives.

Someone asked how many people were on board when it popped, well it was just Charly and Mike, with me playing both characters as usual. Also, like I said in an earlier PM that I think was posted, since I was really just camping so I would have something do while getting some reading done, I didn't kill anything that wasn't aggroing me or Mike, who I left downstairs in the gully or up near the captain most of the time. So unless one of the Kraken is a placeholder, I really don't think I did anything to spawn it.

I had been camping for a couple days, but when I was, I wasn't doing anything active in game. It was just an excuse to read those books. The time he popped, I ran upstairs, leaned back in my chair and not long after saw over the top of my book an Apkallu jump over the rail on the right side of the boat, which was not only a first but was also AA. So I ran Mike up, as you can see in video 1 and then claimed it. The fight lasted about 45 seconds, most of which is shown in video 2 and in video 3 I leveled down. 5 min after that I watched him despawn and then when we finally docked I got a R3 (and my 75 back, thanks Inifekt!) and took the /clock stamp that I forgot to get earlier in my excitement.

I wish now that I was paying more attention to my surroundings, but I honestly didn't expect him to actually pop for me.

charlllyyyy, did you like.. set your hp in nash and then warp back after every boat ride? or just ride back and forth? also what was your apkallu hate like? i'm not sure at all how it works, but it might play some role into it.

An apkallu just hopped on board from the right side, it's name didn't show right away while it was lying on it's belly... I almost shat myself ; ;
