    I've tried to camp this NM many times and never seen more then one Apkallu up at once. Most pops i've seen was 3 in one trip. One was up at launch then depopped then another jumped on depopped, then another jumped on then depopped. They seem to depop at different times as well. Sometimes they stay longer then others.

    From what I've seen and read everything concerning Apkallus on the boat seem to be random or coincidence. I still think its just a random pop in a very long window like Argus or Lord of Onzozo. And I think he doesn't like to be left alone just means he depops quickly like the pets in Einherjar.

    When I had the mobs renamed (e.g. "Bigclaw 9", "Bigclaw 10") I saw "Bigclaw 10" pop, get killed by someone on the boat, then pop again literally a few seconds later, get killed, then pop again a minute later. So pop and depop timers and patterns are really whacky on the boat, in general. The same mob can just keep coming back again and again, or stay up for differing periods of time before depopping.

    All i got is pics of this mob NEVER being up on Cerberus I'd love to see a pic of it popped(despawned) because so far its just people saying "Yo it poped after matinence." SS or it didn't happen.

    EDIT: I'm talking memory pics here.

    Because this mob never seems to even be in the memory, i think something is making it not pop. Prob killing PH. If the pop conditions are similar to Noble Mold and has a few day window within a 2-week period only in certain game months only if no Apkallu is killed, it would make this NM pretty impossible to get unless your really lucky or just camp every boat trip for 2-weeks stright asking everyone taking the boat not to kill PH and hopeing they listen.

    Even if this pops i have a feeling it may not even be soloable which would make the drop item even so much more rare.

    memory pics? like screenshot of artmoney? if you're looking for a pic of someone using ffxiapp to pop the despawned AA, check page 4. i'm usually skeptical, but i find that pic to be legitimate... i know you can change the name of apkallu, but it wouldn't make the apkallu larger than normal, like it is in that picture. also the shadows seem to line up perfectly.. i'd fine it hard for a shop to look good like that

    Someone anonymously sent me a pic with a list of mobs in memory proving that AA had popped, but it wasn't using ArtMoney, so he didn't want to post it himself. I asked what server he was from and if I can crop the pic and rehost it for this thread, but haven't heard back yet.

    I'm sorry I don't see the picture of ffxi app saying "Almighty Apakullu 0% or even 100%" if i see that I'll believe it. Understand what I'm saying? If i still overlooked its my bad.

    i'm not sure if anyone would want to post themselves using ffxiapp, but we'll see... i personally think that ss looks pretty legit enough, but everyone can believe what they want

    Well, here is a crop of the pic I was sent. This person is from the Diabolos server and sent it to me yesterday. He said he does not believe they have lost the AC or had any other unusual circumstances since maintenance.

    Note that Apkallu #7 has not popped, and none of the fished up mobs other than Cyan Deep Crab have popped.

    Anyone else from Diabolos want to go double check, and has anyone from Diabolos been camping the ferry since maintenance?

    Also, anyone else from any other servers have a screenshot to show us?

    No. From what I can see, the only thing you can tell is that the last Apkallu #8 that popped despawned. It says dist: 20, I would assume that is the distance of where it depopped relative to the players position or something like that.

    I don't really understand what the claim thing means thou. At first I thought it was just a counter for the number of times the player using the app claimed said mob, but it's kinda weird the only mob he has ever fought on the boat is that one crab ID, and he's claimed it 9 times?

    Ok so i've been camping for 3 days so far, and i haven't seen it. However after talking with a GM today about it, well, here is the Convo we had(sorry no SS, i'm on ps2):

    Yaggi: I think there is 1 or 2 glitched monsters on the boat from Nashmau >> Al Zahbi
    Yaggi: Myself and many others have been camping the boat to try and spawn the NM, Almighty Apkallu, but nobody has succeeded thus far, and the community is very convinced that the monster is glitched.
    GM: Well actually it is not a random system and is a rare chance of this happening.
    Yaggi: Do you know if it's a timed spawn, or if you must kill other monsters to make it spawn?
    GM: I understand it can be frustrating to wait for the chance for it to happen, sadly as a GM I can not relay details on what the conditions are for this to happen my friend.
    GM: All I can do is to assure you, that the system works as designed.
    Yaggi: Is there anything you can tell me to help, that is within the boundaries of your job?
    GM: I wish I could, as I pointed out, GMs are unable to relay any information on such matters.
    GM: I love my job and I would like to keep it ~.^
    GM: Believe me, many of the GMs do play this game and have high level characters and know what our player base feels.
    Yaggi: well, you're one of the coolest GM's i've ever met, thanks for being so accomodating and friendly.

    Well i guess there isn't too much new info, but take note of the part that i've highlighted. There is definitley something tricky to how this spawns, and it's definitley something very rare it seems. it's possible that this NM is like Biast, or something to that effect. It's also possible that the NM only spawns when the Astral Candesence is in beastman territory. I've heard this theory a number of times, and someone that I regularly play with has told me this is the case, and that his friends have killed Almighty Apkallu before, a few months ago. If this is the case, if would be a VERY RARE occurence especially on my server, Lakshmi, since we haven't lost besieged more than a few times(possibly only once) since ToAU came out. Well, that's my latest update.
    Regarding that screenshot that was recently posted, it looks like AA popped right after a thunder elemental, so maybe it's a rare spawn during thunder weather on the boat. Lots to think about. Good luck everyone, Happy Holidays!

    i'm pretty sure GMs wouldn't know how AA pops even if they wanted to tell ya... i don't think learning about monster and nm spawn mechanics is in their training.

    anyways, no offense to anyone, but i think if people want to keep their credibility, they might want to refrain from posting that their friends have killed AA, especially when they provide no info.

    i'm going to go out on a limb here and trust jp who probably don't know anymore than we do, but i bet you AA has additional effect: stun

    He's saying no one has seen it because no one rides the boat back. Theres another 30+ page topic where we knew that on the first page. I don't understand what you mean is the most telling; if you see something we don't man please share.

    As much as effort as everyone has put into this, the pop conditions are starting to look ridiculous or its possible that it is popping (thus why it's showing in artmoney) but doing whatever Tzee Xicu did and not actually popping for us to kill.

    I know the OP has listed someone had 2 zhay apkallu following them and rode the boat / nothing happened, but has anyone tried Arrapago apkallu ? Also, Poroggo madame 5f Zhay needs you to not only unlock 1 person, but unlock 3, so maybe you need more apkallu followers and the "Allmighty apkallu" will intervene.

    If nobody's tried this one and I remember to do it, i'll try it when I get back home after the pedo-wedding I'm attending.

    Probably been tried but I've been paying pretty close attention to this thread and the last one, but has anyone made the apkallu on the boat their follower for the ride? And if so, is it possible to have more than one up at a time? Maybe 2 followers will cure his loneliness? lol.
