No offense, but you wouldn't even need to search for this information, its in the Silver Sea's thread.Originally Posted by warbandit

My bad then i had read it one time but don´t remenber it actualy saing setup only how to kill 6 gears and 4 ramparts i will give a second look then thanks guys
did this easy with 6 people, blm(me), whm, mnk, nin, rdm, thf
He was probably referring to pop methods, handling gear train, the pull, etc etc.Originally Posted by Koyangi
Dont think anyone really has a problem with the NM itself lol.
Was lookign actualy for numbers need to get to top 4th floor and kill 6 gears, already knwo blm sleep 6 gears kill 1 @ time, sack the other gears will pull the 4 ramparts andwait for turtle to pop
you don't just pull the ramparts, could do it with 5, but most of the time 6-9 for us
Most of the time I just:
Immediatly upon zoning take sacer (usually me) and 4 rampart pullers/chariot puller down to the main room (before gear train has arrived).
I pop sentinel -> flee boots and run around aggroing everything, while each rampart puller grabs their rampart and heads back, as well as chariot puller if doing boss.
I flee toward the exit portal and usually get killed by the gear train (which also helps in slowing them down a bit so they dont rape your friends while pulling the ramparts back up).
Have Chariot/Rampart pullers pull them all the way back to the starting portal, kill chariot first, while ramparts are sleeping, and continue until all are dead, rinse and repeat until Turtle Rampart is up and then kill turtle.
Can be messy if someone fucks up a rampart pull or your sleepers are retarded, but so can anything in salvage.
Personally I fucking hate this NM, as it has the normal shitty drop rates, but its huge pain in the ass to pop.
I was referring to the whole run, we would typically do usu 35 head route, then head to aspid (with only 6), did train, 4 ramparts, aspid etc this way.Originally Posted by Neosutra
Is the drop rate really as bad as other lv 35 in SS?
my data most definitely confirms this. have fun! /wristOriginally Posted by Kaylia

it probably is the same, just seems worse because most people dont do it as often due to the pita nature of popping and killing it.
44 and counting
All bout the 5% - like trying to get a Dring ever night!
Usukane Body is THE body piece to have tho. Shows you had a competent Salvage group who made it to 4th Floor SS killing all that shit and NM. Every random smacktard can get lucky on a Morrigan and Ares 35. Marduk bodies are tossed left and right anywayWell Skadi Body needs some skill, too. mainly from your THF puller.

Mostly due to the fact that we've had a windfall of 35 Morrigan hnd. and need to kill the MB for 25's. We have most of the other zones downto being able to full clear or near full clear, But SSR I suppose you could say is our trouble zone. So any tips to take less time on CC would be appreciated. The Fomor mobs in SSR already seem like they take much longer to kill than mobs on similar levels of other zones so its already a time crunch. Waiting for roaming gears to come by, killing all of them, then pulling ramparts seems painfully slow, especially if you need to save enough time for MB.
It definately takes practice, and you have the be FAST, as in the monent you port up to teh 4th floor you and your pullers better be running down to the rampart room. Get everyone targetted then sac pull and flee away, linking the gear train. Ramparts/Chariot take a bit to kill due to high HP and pet spawning, but just keep them asleep and mages alive. Binding the ramparts before they wake up or even gravity will help your blm or rdm stay alive longer.
Once you are used to it, you can get off this floor in about 15 min.
I've never done it but I agree with that statement. Everything else in SSR seems to take 10-15m once you get smart with it, I doubt this would be any different.
