Maaaaan i still remember my first contact with Duke Nukem. Rofl...the memory that I have is vivid.

I was in the 5th grade and it was on the first day of school. It was in first period in Ms. Kay's class (god she was such a bitch) and the table I sat at had three other people. This dude named Kirill kept holding up his Duke Nukem CD and kept saying "this is my duke nukem." At first i thought Duke Nukem was a band that I had never heard of lol.

I just thought I would add this.

Given the quality of the voice sample, it's possible they've had that recording since the project was started.

I don't know, at this point it seems like 3D Realms' best move would be to feed the aura of low expectations that has grown around this game and just release it sometime next Spring as a budget-game (not unlike Serious Sam). When you're 9 years late into a saturated genre that's pretty much your best hope. If this thing comes out at $50-60 dollars it will simply fail.

Duke Nukem 3D ruled my afternoons during middle school, I'd be more then happy paying 50-60 bucks assuming the game isn't a huge steaming pile of crap.
