I liked it a lot. It was exactly what I was expecting judging from the trailer. Interesting, well crafted action scenes, good acting, good humour and a plot that keeps you entertained.

The twist was kinda expected, but along with the backstory I felt like we got enough of an explanation or reason. I'm not sure what else you expected them to say or show about that would've made the movie more believable or whatever.

Maybe I have a vivid imagination, but I found it easy to fill in the holes myself. Anything they didn't or haven't used might be used later on, who knows.

I thought it was meh, not horrible. All the actors played what they were given well and there were some very well done moments and comic relief. But the whole thing didn't have an aura of momentum, consistancy and suspense that you need to make a movie great. Most of the bits were half done, and only tapped into the potential of what they could be.

Watching this movie made me as an African American woman so sad.this movie sucks sucks sucks! why couldn't they put another Black person for wills love partner, like spider-man, superman,all those other superhero movies they all got their same race. I don't understand there are so many great Black actress out there. why couldn't they play Charlize Theron role?the movie was so boring I really wanted my money back!

I thought it was fairly common knowledge that Theron is African.

Actually, that makes me question the validity of the term African American.
