Low Level stuff in WOTG

I have noticed alot of zones have lower level mobs when I have been running around.

I have also read alot about campaign being for 60+

Are there any solo stuff for lower levels to xp with. I hear some of the quests in the past towns give XP. Are these repeatable?

Any information about lower level things to do would be appreciated.

You could do campaign ops, too. Take your level 1 and do Materiel Storm a few times for, what is it, 580xp or something each time? Or is that the AN?

It's the AN, and you can't get exp from Ops or battles on jobs under level 10.

There are no infinitely repeatable quests for exp in FFXI- anything that'll give you such is limited in some form. In this case, it's OP credits- you get one per 24 hours (clock turns over at whatever point you enlisted). The dangerous part will be getting from the initial maw to a starting city- pack prism powders, silent oils, and get maps in advance for any new areas you're passing through to get there.

It's there to prevent RMT's and the like from spamming such things to easily level characters. That being said, there's a decent amount of low level monsters outside of each of the three cities, which would get you to the level 10 needed to gain exp from OP's. You wouldn't get much from Campaign battles, but you would get a trickle of exp (and Allied Notes) from participating in those as well post-10th. Just be careful- there's still plenty of monsters that will find a lowbie tasty even in the near-city zones in WoTG.

If you didn't get a recommendation letter (for San d'Oria, that's Garliage Citadel), you're going to be in the lurch. Civilians (that is, anybody who didn't get that letter) can't do OP's or participate in Campaign.
