Its like how FF9 is a Caricature of the previous Final Fantasies before it all while making a name for itself and having some of the most fun minigames in FF history.

Ola flamenco!! Loved that minigame, and the music playing over. Beside Snowboard in FF7, the minigame in FF9 were pretty good. I loved chocobo hot and cold and that card game.

I dont remember anything particular linking Ozma to chocobo, think it just happened to be there.

Ministory is the right word to describe chocobo minigame because there really wasnt much of a story. Basically, Mene (or something like that) helps Choco in his quest to reach Chocobo paradise. Once you find that place, you learn he isn't allowed to stay there until get every chocographes. If you get all of them, Choco will leave you to stay in the paradise, but he changes his mind as you leave the place and come back with you.

Yeah seriously lol, and even if you rename them, those names are pretty weird.

I dunno but out of the 4 battles with Ultimecia I liked The Legendary Beast music the best.

Final Fantasy has always had great music for Final Bosses, watching that video when i first played FF8 and finished off Ultimecia with Lionheart was good times. (first time Squall had ever used it on my first playthrough)

Beating FFXII over again yesterday, even the music for the final battle against 'The Undying' was good.

FFIX had some great tracks, i liked both the Necron and Trance Kuja tracks.

The Undying boss fight music and the Gilgamesh boss fight music are the only scores from the FF12 OST I actually like... I miss Nomura on the FF projects. ;;

Yeah, I thought FFXII music was weaker than other. It was still pretty good compared to many games, but it felt more like a movie/ambiance soundtrack than good old video game music.

Well don't get me wrong, the whole orchestrated feel worked for FF12 because of the story and its background, so that was good... I just couldn't connect to it like I connected to FF8/9's soundtracks.

FFXII's wasn't as anthemic and memorable as Uematsu's but IMO it was great. Instead of taking the spotlight it really highlighted what went on.

XII is a game that has good music, but not outstanding. But most OSTs have music that overpowers what is going on, I don't think XII had that, since the music really did help set the tone of where you were perfectly.

Last boss music was good though, and battle on the bridge = win

Also I used to rename all my characters when I first played lol, can't do that so much anymore because no game really gives you the chance.

Whover thought it was a good idea to let you rename him was retarded. They wont say his name once in cutscene because of that, and it can get really annoying.

Persona 2: Innocent Sin! Great game... imported it finally a few months back. And... there is a translation? or did they do Hilter in Eternal Punishment also? I'm finishing Innocent Sin before Eternal Punishment.

No translation patch to Innocent Sin, but there is a script which I just loaded up on my laptop as I played on on the PS2.

Really I wish someone would do a patch on this amazing game, it really blows Eternal Punishment out of the water. Hitler was only in Innocent Sin.. which people believe to be a reason it wasn't localized here.

Yes finish IS before EP, the way everything ties in together is executed so damn well.
