Whover thought it was a good idea to let you rename him was retarded. They wont say his name once in cutscene because of that, and it can get really annoying.

No translation patch to Innocent Sin, but there is a script which I just loaded up on my laptop as I played on on the PS2.

Really I wish someone would do a patch on this amazing game, it really blows Eternal Punishment out of the water. Hitler was only in Innocent Sin.. which people believe to be a reason it wasn't localized here.

Yes finish IS before EP, the way everything ties in together is executed so damn well.

This is why i hated X-2 slightly.... because they recycled everything down to the Overdrives =/ They could have at least made some new moves or a different outfit...

I think they wanted Shuyin to use the same abilities as Tidus on purpose, that is, to SHOW that Tidus is a dream reincarnation of Shuyin and that they are actually related.

I thought it was pretty well done, they DID change the names of the overdrives.

A Prequel would've been stupid because we already know the story. We already know what happened with Yunalesca, we know how they met, we know everything.

It would've been useless... HOWEVER, the whole sphere hunter bullshit was annoying. At least they sorta made up for it with an epic series of final boss fights.

Meh, I shouldn't have to sit through 30? ish hours of dull story to get something worthwhile. Also, while I agree a prequel wouldn't be the best idea, storywise it would have been better I think. But you're right about us knowing about how it all went down, still I wouldn't mind playing with a team of badasses instead of gimps, womenz and childrenz. It could be a good version of the journey to zanarkand.

The issue in my opinion w/X-2 wasnt even the problem with the all-female story it was the fact that EVERYTHING felt recycled to hell. The things that you didnt want recycled (blitzball) got watered down so bad it wasnt funny. The game would have been worth it if they didnt water down the blitzball ~.~

The story was so full of stereotypical female shit that i couldnt stand playing through Cutscenes because the whole time im playing this game its like 'what the fuck are they giggling about now?' Shuyin wasnt original, he was angry they shot his ass and now he wants to use some big robot to destroy the world. The very robot no one knew shit about until Yuna and co. saved the world from Sin due to it being 'forgotten'.... yeah right, get in line Shuyin you arent special. Tidus reskinned, that was -so- original...

Words cant describe how bad FFX-2 was, id rank it as having the worst storyline of any FF easily and besides the garment grid/dressphere system that wasnt too bad (it'd have done way beter in another game) i think the developers got a bit too happy sculpting ass and breasts to come up with a logicial story that anyone could enjoy.

I damn well know someone got fired for thinking any chick would play this game and not think it was as dumb and retarded as a typical dude thinks/thought it was. The leblanc group made me wanna choke a kitten everytime they got screentime too /wrists

The explanation was that Le blanc had stolen Yuna's dressphere so it was her that put on the concert. Which makes no fucking sense because you see for the rest of the game that dresspheres just change your clothes, it doesn't turn you in to another person.

I love X-2, it's one of my favorite RPGs. Any FF with job system is instantly on my awesome list, and the battle system was fun as hell. It's a great game if you just ignore the plot, characters, and dialogue, lol.

Wasn't there some mumbo jumbo about how tendencies of the person the dress sphere was modeled from could carry over to the user? Think Shinra spoke about it some before the big concert, but it's been years. Overall, the ragging on the game kind of eludes me. No, it wasn't the best RPG ever, but it certainly wasn't the worst.

Nah Materia system is still the best to me. Though I do agree that usually awesome gameplay can override anything... X-2 is on it's own territory. Nothing will override the big piece of shit that it was, it completely tainted anything that was good of X.. which is hardly anything.
