He was on Bahamut for a little while. I guess his play time wasn't the best and he just altogether stopped playing for a while before he moved. He was only ever in Fafnir only and Salvage only LS's during his short stay on Bahamut. He is from Apathy, this is true (You can see him in the videos) and he is pretty knowledgeable about endgame. I think the only thing that might bring him down is his playtime.

He jumped servers with myself and another from Remora to Bahamut.

He was always a little sketchy. Would tell stories about how there was a "girl" who played Kanivas as well. A lot of people caught him in that little lie. Yet he still played on with it. Then when he got a mic to talk on vent, the "girl Kanivas" all the sudden moved out for some rather weird reason.

He was in our Salvage shell on Bahamut for a while. Got our first Macha's Coat then stopped playing. Rarely ever logged in at all. I had talked to him about it on several occasions where he said he was done with FFXI. Then again, every other day it was "I might come back..." or "I fucking hate that game, I'm done."

He gave me his account info to log him in just incase we needed a WHM or just to PL myself and another. Which I would occasionally do so. He changed the password on me and then claimed he never did. No problem, it's his account, he has every right to do so. But he continued insisting that he never changed it and that I was typing it wrong. I had it saved into PoL, there was no typing it wrong. He gave me a good 6+ passwords to try and none of them worked. Even after knowing he changed the password, he had given me permission to take the 20 Khroma Ore from his account since he was no longer playing. Again he gave me the "password" only for it to not work. And again, he insisted I was typing it wrong.

Wasn't long after that, that he had logged in and sold off all the Khroma Ore and left Bahamut for Asura.

I'm not sure what to really say about him. I never really lent him gear much, a few HQ staves, but he did return what I did. But I didn't really trust him that well. He was always telling these stories that never connected or clashed with other ones he had said. Other than that, he's a decent player. Just.. questionable on things.

I want you to take a look at things from my perspective on the whole issue of my password. Bear with me =)
How was I supposed to tell a long time friend and person i had jumped to Bahamut to, that I wanted to keep my ores, even if I was quitting? So yeah. I did make up the thing about my password, I did intentionally change it. Im sorry I wanted to keep my account and keep it how it was incase I ever did come back. Which you should know, I was prone to do that alot. lol. The main reason I did'nt want you to take the ores was because, at the time, I had sold everything good from my BRD, and WHM to get those ores, as well as countless hours in Mount Zhaloymijbrdfhberf, however you spell it. Kinda get where I was coming from now? Yes, I should have told you, no I want to keep my ores. But you were a really good friend, so it was just kind of hard.

Still looking forward to Geno's post too. I know he's at work/school. And I figure you already told him of this.

His loyalty is questionable, only reason he was in Apathy in the first place was he was going to steal an HNM from his current LS. Then he leaves Apathy for no apparent reason with Xiani (who had a decent reason to leave) and now he is leaving her and Geno after they got him Morrigan' Robe? lol

He didn't attack you. He is making a statement of general character for all people and he is absolutely correct. Passive-aggressive behavoir is often an undesirable trait. Without knowing you, the information above can only be construed as a series of events in which, you acted passive-aggressively. However, the fact of the matter is that we are unaware of any back story involved surrounding these events. Part of the cross-server background check process would seem to be that we all as an FFXI community offer personal insights into the character of the person being reviewed as well as opinions from outsiders. An outside opinion can be a useful tool to help a leader weigh the pros and cons of a decision. It's not a matter of trolling the forums (though it sometimes can be. ) but rather a matter of trying to offer constructive advice.

This is an awesome way to get into Linkshells, I suggest you be a dick to all of them and you're sure to get in.

I felt he was a decent player with how he quickly learned how to tank on rdm/nin and did a decent job doing so. I guess the biggest question is if he is following someone else to your linkshell. He seemed to be a follower on bahamut and had what people in the linkshell called "shared hate" with certain people.

So, in summary:
If applying on his own -- Yes
If applying because a friend is in the ls -- Beware

If I were trolling I'd've simply mentioned the atrocious spelling, grammar, and punctuation. You must understand that when you're placed in a [BC] thread, you're being judged at face-value. So while I'm not on your server, hilariously enough, neither is the person asking about you. How one presents themselves in a thread like this often times bares far more weight than innumberable opinions given by people who must also be judged by words alone.

- Not huge items.. but he failed to return borrowed items from members, then when confronted about it he claimed he sent them and they must have been lost during the transfer, rightt...

- Was not one to be counted on. Can't count on him as tank party rdm or whm, could never land a stun, generally came off to me like someone who thought he knew everything and shrugged off criticism. Ryany said he was decent tho, so maybe he improved, I have not played with him in a while.

- We (apathy) were going to accepted him because he was going to steal an HNM (dia, drop with claim) from his current hnm ls (rival ls.) Information got out, or they caught wind of it and booted him before it happened. One of the nicer officers in the LS accepted him anyways.

Honestly maybe he has changed, but from what Xiani is saying, he still seems like the same sketchy guy that left us.

Ill admit that I did forget to return a Emperor Hairpin, and a Venrer Ring. Im sorry for that, if I could send them trans server. I would, I still have the items. I just was in a rush to get off Remora, did'nt really think of anything.
I did'nt get a Morrigans Robe, then bounce Bahamut. Something was lost in translation there. I got the Macha's Coat, was still around for a while after that, In fact i was there to help Genosync get his Coat. He finished his before mine because I couldnt afford to. I still dont have the coat. And my reasons for leaving Bahamut had nothing whatsoever to do with that stupid coat.
With the dropping claim with the HNM thing. Yeah, I'm sorry. But I had already planned to drop my pearl anyways. Not much I can do about that, that is said and done. shoot me.
As for the person who used to play Kanivas, Yes there was another person who occasionally logged onto Kanivas. I happened to be dating her at the time. And she liked FFXI. So she logged on and played. Im sorry shoot me that my partner liked video games. But god forbid there be any girl who plays this game. Lol. Sketch as it may seem. It happened, I know it did. You dont have to believe me. Its fine, Just a game to me.
