    Re: Classical Music

Rachmaninoff's third piano concerto (Martha Argerich)

Anything and everything by Chopin, it's all masterwork. Especially the concertos, ballades, and nocturnes

    Debussy's Epigraphes antiques

Shumann's Kreisleriana, piano sonata No. 2, Faschingsschwank aus Wien

Liszt's Hungarian rhapsodies, transcendental etudes, Seven years of pilgrimage

Any of Bach's fugues, especially on a good pedal harpsichord

Mendelssohn's concertos, any of them, they're all extremely catchy

    Shostakovich's string quartets

Ravel's Gaspard de la Nuit, jeux deau

    I could go on D:

    Re: Classical Music

i don't know any names, but occasionally i'll put on the classic music channel on late at night when i'm about to goto sleep to clear my head.

if alot of the stuff from the movie "a beautiful mind" s' soundtrack counts as classical i could listen to that stuff at any time. it's so good.

i forgot about them, yeah they're great, i heard them when I heard Gary Zukav speak, i had to know what the music was and a couple of songs were theirs

and i was absolutely obsessed with The Fountain soundtrack for nearly a month (maybe 2), composed by Clint Mansell (also did Requiem for a dream sdtrk), feat. Mogwai, and the Kronos Quartet

    Samuel Barber's "Adagio For Strings"
This answer is win, especially since, as I don't listen to classical music much at all but generally more trance / techno / whatnot, this song makes for great remixes. Much <3 for it

    Beethoven:
    Ave Maria
    Moonlight Sonata
    Piano Sonata #8
    9th Symphony

    Pachabel's Canon in D.

Pretty common classical pieces. I need to flesh out my classical playlist on itunes. Need to find some good Mozart since I hear it helps you study. XD
