Well, I'm certainly late to this party, aren't I?

I don't wanna post too much in a public thread, but I will say that I respect both Sath and Xenora. The news is all pretty unexpected to me, but I did talk to Xen about it at length today, who told me I should get in touch w/ Sath to get his side of the story. I'm not totally ready to go dishing out judgments just yet, but I will say that I have found Xen to be a dedicated member thus far (as he was in the past). If Xen decides to post here, then you will all get more of the facts that you just don't have right now. He told me he plans to give the gaiters back via a mule and will even PayPal the server transfer fee. You can choose to believe him or not -- your call.

I have heard your warnings and will proceed with caution. Everyone in Lagsave is savvy on our lotting rules, so he wouldn't be able to just steal stuff and run anyway, although honestly I'm not worried.

A few more important points. Please don't judge Fenrir based on Cocanut and Nighteagle, as they are not the people that anyone on Fenrir would want to be chosen to represent us. I'm sure you all have your black sheep as well. Also, Sath wasn't even trying to get an Ares's Cuirass. He obtained the 35 piece in a really odd way during ppl passing and d/cing during timeout and was honestly surprised to find it in his inventory the next day. We all agreed to help him complete it, and he completed the upgrade mostly out of respect for the ls, so that we could claim it as a completed piece of Lagsave. Ftr, it was our 2nd 3/3 Salvage piece, but more like the 5th or 6th to be completed, and we now have 53 completed pieces (since June), iirc. Sath refused to transfer servers before he paid back every gil he borrowed in order to complete the upgrade, and I believe Xen helped him earn most of that.

And yes, Sath is an asshole. I believe that has been quite beneficial to his play style in FFXI.

Who is "anyone"? Curious . I can understand Nighteagle from what he has done in the past, but I'd like to know what I've done that can even remotely relate to him. I haven't stolen anything, and I get along with mostly everyone on Fenrir. I've only spoken to you, what, maybe 5 times at the most?

I'm not saying what Xenora did was right, but why did you let him take the Dalmatica and Bahamut's staff in the first place if he was such a bad and unreliable member? If there were more deserving members then it should have gone to them. It's r/ex and there isn't anything anyone can do. Yes, taking off after getting some r/ex gear (on top of the ls gear such as gaiters) is very lame, but why did he get the r/ex stuff in the first place if he was such a bad member?

The exact reason ag, like KoJ said earlier, LM17 is the fusion of the 2 top NA HNM LS on Ifrit, Atariii and Fatesealers, kinda like if VQ and Omen (is omen still active much at camps?) joined.

The only really fair way to handle everything was to reset everything, and set tier priorities based on jobs and start everyone from ground zero, including me and Xen. In fact the 2nd or 3rd day the LS was made a Ridill dropped, had like 8 people lotting it, was funny.

Xenora got the items as a result of a system that was made to be fair to everyone, in the LS we migrated to, Atariii, we were both pretty much last in line for all body abj. and items like that.

This made me laugh. This is always the first things ppl who run with LS items says. Seriously, when you get a LS property item, you know it's yours, you agreed to the LS rule and if you leave the LS, you shouldn't give it back. Running with it just show how much of a lootwhore and greedy person you are. It's not hard to msg any officer online and tell him to meet you in Whitegate to give him the gaiters and go you own fucking way after.

And about who I would get in my LS, i'd take someone who commit to the LS, get the job done but have some uncontrolled anger before any skilled player who doesn't show up to event or go lvl a mule. If you want to lvl a mule during LS event, don't join a HNMLS...

You must have read the title of this thread wrong, because this isn't "hey let's all point out the obvious that Sath is an asshole!" it's about Xenora stealing linkshell items. Because let's face it, Sath is a complete and utter asshole. I am saying that, and I am married to him. That has nothing to do with the fact that Xenora blatantly stole linkshell property and left the server. You can throw your "well he didn't have a choice, sath is an asshole"'s at me all you want, but that still does not change what Xenora did.

If you could drop your childish antics and lame grudge from the days of CDC for even a second to realize that, then maybe we could have some progress here.
