Just in reply to the removed thread.
Just in reply to the removed thread. I assume from the removal of the thread that the act of bartering is restricted on the forums. But I figure the discourse the resulted from it should be ok, so I'll limit myself to the response in the hopes of keeping a clean name.
It's ok if you don't trust the situation. I fully understand that. You are welcome to talk with the LS I'm with and ask them on the matter. We've done a lot of stuff for cross server trades in the past, we have never once screwed anyone out of gil or items. The group I'm with are very nice guys, and if for ANY reason one of the LS members transferring the goodies tries to pull something fishy, I'll personally take the hit and move my mule to the server to correct it, even if I take a loss in the process.
In responce to those that wanted to know how we planned to do it? the idea was simple. Most people have a handful of content ID's over 90 days old. Let's say we get 5 servers that people want goodies from, just have 2 accounts do the move for all 5 at the same time. 5 mule are made on each server, and 5 on this server, each with a goodie. We migrate all the goodies to each of the servers on 1 account, using the 5 mules. Make the trade, then using the second account, migrate all 5 other mules, with the gil, back. It's only really worth it if you do it in bulk, and you need people to have lots of mules that are 90 days or older they are willing to transfer. Luckily we have both of those thank to the help of some LS members old gardening accounts. At the end of the day I'd much rather give SE 50$ of my money (yes, I'm paying for it), then ever drop a dime on some RMT groups who ruined this game.
In this case we have gardening accounts with over 10 mules, so we have a lot of flexibility. I would also note that I removed any mention of the earlier proposed transaction as to avoid problems with the BG admins.
