Ok, 2 quick questions come to mind with this discussion. First, was zilart released in the same episodic format as the other expansions were (basically the expansion laying the groundwork, then each patch adding more and more content till it's inevitable conclusion is reached). And 2nd, at the time of Zilart release, what was the level cap at that point?

yes, 60 or 65.

I want to say it was 60 as of the day before the release of the expansion and moved to 65 at or right after the release of the expansion; but I'm not really certain.

Hy Intense, I really like the way you think, but i think you should be aware: Nothing in this life is permanent. Period. Theyre gunna pull the plug on the servers and theyre gunna pull the plug on my little brother soon too.

Accomplishment can and often does have very different meaning for different people. I have a fairly satisfying personal life outside the game, and i achive goals there, and i have a fairly satisfying life in the game and i achieve goals there too. To ME there is no difference in the accomplisments worth in or out of game, i have set my mind to a thing and worked to see it come to pass. Many people i know do not understand how i can feel validated in the amount of time i spend in a virtual world doing things that , to them, have no value.

This weekend instead of going out and getting hammered with my chums ill stay in and play, for example. I do not feel any need to persuade them to see my point but really, if i claim an NM in the time i would be pounding Jaeger at Mr. Luckys i will feel as tho my time has been better spent. On the flip side, calling out to work to catch a NM pop window will leave me feeling pretty empty, even if i end up with "Insert Awesome Drop name here".

i Guess the point im getting at here is that i feel YOU shouldnt feel that accomplishments are based solely on interactions in the real world. My xbox is IN the real world and i am too, and so are you, and here we are, fighting things together. Someday we'll be deleted, both in game and out, and while you say that When that happens it will have lost all meaning aside from our relationships. I agree, but its important to know thta that is what is going to happen in Real Life too. The lessons learned in Vanadiel apply out here, and vise versa. The student can find wisdom anywhere.

I hope you dont think im bashing you, im not, i just want you to know that what you do is important no matter what where or when, because it is what you have chosen to do.
